Dreams of what?
Joy, Splendor, Glamour, Fame?
The hope of a new life perhaps?
The dream of the Americas?
Or was it greed, death, and destruction?
A foreshadowing of the conflict to come?
Titanic, "Unsinkable,"
A prophecy maybe,
Of the fame it would hold?
The mystery of its sinking never to unfold?
Titanic, "The Ship of Dreams"?
More like nightmares,
Loved ones lost, frozen to death.
Families separated never to see each other again.
Mothers' wails, children's sobs.
Unthinkable?
Or was it "Unsinkable"?

Did it ever really sink?
