It doesn't matter that she doesn't know where she is, why she's lying in the middle of a dirty alleyway. What does matter is that she doesn't remember anything other than her name, because apparently, Avatar Korra of the Southern Water Tribe is a fucking amnesiac.
No shippings.
prologue
.
.
Avatar Korra of the Southern Water Tribe will wake up in a grimy, dilapidated alleyway and will not know where she is.
She will soon realize that she doesn't have a clue of what she had been doing before this unfortunate awakening; not who she was talking with, not what she had eaten for her evening meal, and certainly not the name of the man with a black beard and a blue arrow tatooed onto his head who seems to be trying to talk to her right now.
Korra will tell this lunatic of a man to go away and will proceed to stand up on shaky legs for approximately two seconds before they fail her and promptly buckle underneath her weight to kiss the floor. She'll spit out a very bad curse word she didn't even know she knew, and this is the point when Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon and hero of Olympus, comes stumbling past this dirty nook between two buildings and catch sight of the strange girl with icy blue eyes and mocha brown skin.
He didn't have to do anything, but poor Percy will reach out towards the girl, ask after her health, and offer his hand to this stranger whose only memory is that her name is Korra and she's the Avatar from the Southern Water Tribe.
Perhaps if the son of Poseidon had not stopped to help the master of all four elements, he would not have set into motion events that would spin completely out of his control.
But Percy doesn't know this, so with big sea-green eyes, he tugs at the girl and asks, "Are you alright?"
