Mummy always read fairytales to be every night before I went to bed.

Among all of them, my least favorite was Cinderella.

I didn't really know why…. or maybe I did.

Maybe it was the way she talked to mice and birds.

Maybe it was because she had short hair. It made her look like a boy.

Cinderella needed her Prince Charming to come save her.

Cinderella was afraid that once it reached midnight and she changed back, Prince Charming would find out she doesn't have fancy clothes or jewelry.

Cinderella was afraid of standing of for herself and always needed someone to help her. Like her FairyGodmother.

There were many reasons why me and Cinderella are alike.

I always needed Sasuke-kun to save me during missions.

I was a weak kunoichi -no, I'm not even fit to be called a kunoichi-. I was a weak girl and easily bullied,

And when the love of my life left, I couldn't even stop him.

And when the Hokage assigned ninja's to go after him, I wasn't included because I was weak and emotionally unstable.

And I forced Naruto to promise to bring Sasuke-kun back.

But then again,

I am not Cinderella and Cinderella isn't me.

This isn't a fairytale where people get their happy endings.

This is a world where people die everyday before they even reach 20.

This is a world where we experience killing at such a young age.

This is a world where there is no such thing as right or wrong anymore.

I can't just sit down in one corner waiting for my Prince Charming to come and save me once again.

I can't just sit down in one corner and hope for my Prince Charming to come back.

I can't just sit down and wait for my Fairy Godmother to give me my Prince Charming.

Maybe this time,

I will make my own fairytale.

I will make my own legacy.

I will not be Cinderella.

I will be stronger and this time, I will not wait for the Prince to come or wait for my Fairy Godmother to bring him to me because this time,

I will be the one to save him.

I will be the Princess who saves the Prince Charming.

And maybe this time, I will be proud to be called a member of Team 7.
