AN: Hey this is my first story so might not be great and I'd love it if you would please and thank you review this to tell me if you liked it or not and how I could improve. Also the clothing/styles won't be the same as 'back in the day' because I definitely wouldn't want to wear a skirt everyday and Johnny Cade and Dallas Winston are not dead!

"Hey, Pony! Wake up school's in half an hour!" I heard Two Bit calling me from the living room. I assumed that my brothers already left for work. I really didn't want to go to school today. Don't get me wrong I love school and all but I didn't get a chance to finish my essay last night and I knew I would be in trouble. I then felt a kick on my bed. "Come on you gotta go to school, who else will do my work?" Two bit joked.
"Fine" I said rolling out of bed. "I'll be right down" I grabbed my gray t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans and went down stairs. I grabbed the piece of toast that Darry left for me and went to get my shoes on. Once I was ready Two Bit, Johnny and I went out the door and walked to school.
Once at school we went our separate ways to go to our lockers. I opened my locker and debated if I should grab my binder or say I forgot it at home. The bell rang so I grabbed my binder quickly and closing my locker I turned around just to bump into a soc.
'Crap!' I thought to myself as this 6 foot soc turned around to face a 5'6" guy like me. "Hey! What was that for?" he asked angrily. "I-I'm-m S-s" Before I could stutter through my words he interrupted "You wanna go?"
"N-n-no I'm so-o sorry" I stuttered, too late for that before I knew it my nose came in contact with his fist. I fell back when he tackled me to the ground. I had no choice but to fight back now. I started to punch at his shoulders and face and vice versa. I knew I couldn't beat him but I could keep up until a teacher stops us. After five minutes a teacher came by and pushed through the crowd and stopped us. We both had bloody noses and I gave him quite a few brutal bruises. We both got escorted to the office. I realized that it was already ten minutes into class. 'At least I don't have to present my essay to the class but on the other hand I'm going to be in trouble with my brothers and that soc is gonna kill me if he sees me outside of school' I thought.
Both of us sat in the office as the secretary phoned our homes to explain what happened this morning. My first period teacher (English teacher) then came in the office with a girl. I don't think I've seen her before, new student? Who ever moves to Tulsa? Why would anyone want to? Questions ran through my head as always but I got interrupted when my English teacher came up to me "Hey, Ponyboy why weren't you in class today? Well never mind that question you can explain tomorrow but I have something else to ask you. Would you mind showing Robyn around the school? It's her first day and you have three classes together 1st, 3rd and 5th period together." He said
"Uh, Sure" I said.
