Infatuated
Author's Note: My first Doctor Who Fan-fiction. A quick thought-shot about what Rose was thinking when her mother accused her of being infatuated with The Doctor.
Episode Link: World War Three (Season 1 Episode 5)
Rose laughed internally at her mother's comment about The Doctor. She had many thoughts about him and not one of them was about infatuation. So why was she so bothered about her mother's comment? She admired him greatly. Who wouldn't admire what he does and who he is? Everyday he risks his life to save the world. Although, that comment he made about her "I could save the world but lose you" rang through her mind. She shoved that memory into the back of her head as she packed. He probably admired her too. Yes, that was it, she did save his life in that awful pit.
Besides he wasn't her type, at all. Also, Rose had a loving and amazing boyfriend. Everything that Miki was The Doctor was the complete opposite of. In fact one of the things that Rose was attracted to about Miki was his modesty. The Doctor was cocky. The Doctor took risks and chances. But, he put Rose first. After today she was sure of that. "I could save the world but lose you." Damn, why the bloody hell did that keep popping in her head. Why was this so damn hard? Rose's head was spinning and the next thing she knew she was back in TARDIS laughing with The Doctor. It wasn't infatuation it was admiration. You keep telling yourself that Rose, an annoying part of her brain said.
Final A.N.: I recently discovered the amazing work that is Doctor Who so I have no idea what happens after this episode.
