What is Love?
Love.
A word so strong it can make or break a person's entire life.
But, what is love?
Some say it's the desire to be intimate with someone.
Others say it's the need to share your life with another person.
I say, it's the need to protect another person. To make sure that no harm will ever come to them. To die for them.

"Hermione?"
That's Draco. My husband. Yes, I know what you're thinking, "Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy got married?" And yes, we did. It wasn't forced, there was no pregnancies or charms, just love. After the war, Harry, Ron and I returned to Hogwarts to finish our education, and get our N.E.W.T's. Apparently, Draco had the same desire, and he too returned to Hogwarts. Draco and I were made Head Boy & Head Girl, therefore sharing a dorm.
It wasn't until a few months into the term that I noticed a difference in Draco's personality. When I questioned him about it, he revealed to me that, after his parents died in Azkaban, he had managed to escape from the remaining Death Eaters and return to Hogwarts. Draco told me that he'd never wanted to be a Death Eater, and had nothing against Muggle-Borns, but his Father had forced him to be so cruel to me. We called truce and, eventually, feelings.. developed, and.. well.. here we are, 5 years on, Married.
Of course there were, and still are doubters of our love and Draco's loyalties. But we proved everyone wrong. It may have cost me a few friendships, but I'm glad I found someone like Draco.
"Hermione?"
Oh! I almost forgot he called me.
"Yes Draco?" I called out to him.
"Did you feed Felix?" He asked.
Felix. My pride and joy. She's Draco and I's first child. Her full name is Gloria Felix Soles Malfoy (Beautiful Happy Sunshine in Latin). We chose a Latin name after I found out that "Draco" was Latin for Dragon. Felix is 2 ½ and is the spitting image of Draco, all except the little brown dots in her beautiful silver eyes.
"Yes I have, she's down for her nap now." I replied, rather loudly, hoping I did not wake Felix. I listened out for her cries for a minute, and, once I heard none, I wandered off to find Draco.
Finding him in the office, I quietly walked up behind him chair and wrapped my arms round his neck, kissing him softly on the cheek. "Hello love." greeting me with a kiss on the hand. "Hello Drake." Using the nickname I knew annoyed him. "Hermione.." He said, warningly.
"I know, I know.. you don't like that nickname. Personally, I think it's cute." Draco, ignoring my last comment, tenderly held my hands and turned round in his chair, asking "How are you today, sweetheart?" Smiling brightly, "We're both good," I replied, tenderly placing my hand on my stomach which had held our baby for the last 5 months. We found out last week that we are having a boy and we're naming him James Nocte (Night in Latin) Malfoy.
