A Smaug Poem (Version 2)
A dragon who is feared
But acts like a mockingbird
Because it has eyes for treasure
And over the years has accumulated large quantities
Of treasures both big and small
But another game he likes to play and he plays it very well
And it's called a very familiar game known as cat and mouse
A game where the dragon is the cat and the intruder is the mouse
As the intruder runs for their life it's now really wishing that it didn't wake the dragon up from its peaceful slumber
