"Anaconda."
"Yes." Lily looked at her big brother, shock written in her face. James blinked innocently back.
"Anaconda is your favorite Nicki Minaj song."
"Yes, what else could it be?"
"Monster, Fly, her rap in 'Girl on Fire', need I go on?"
"You could, but you would be wrong. Look, Lils, we just have different taste in what Nicki Minaj's greatest achievement is. At least, we appreciate her, unlike Al."
"You have a good point, but still. Anaconda?"
"You have to admit it's catchy."
"True point."
"What are you two talking about?" Harry asked as he walked into the living room.
"Nicki Minaj," they answered simultaneously.
"Ah," Harry said nodding. "Is she the one whose concert you went to?"
"Yeah," James replied. "She's a Muggle rapper, and she's really good. Me and Lily were just disagreeing on what her best song was. Lils thinks it's Fly, which is actually a duet with Rhianna, I say Anaconda." He dropped his voice to a low whisper. "We might have to disown her for this."
"And yet when she was Sorted into Slytherin, you sent an owl saying that if we disowned her, you would drop out of Hogwarts and get a job to support the two of you."
"You did that?" Lily said. "Aww, James. I love you too."
"Shut up. I was clearly delusional, like you are now."
"Delusional? Alright, the song is catchy and it's not a bad one, but it's not her masterpiece! Someone is delusional here and it's not me!"
"Al, get the popcorn, James and Lily are about to argue," Harry yelled into the kitchen.
"Try to distract them until I get into there! I want to see it from beginning to end."
James and Lily ignored them, choosing instead to continue arguing about what exactly was Nicki Minaj's artistic masterpiece.
I don't know much about Nicki Minaj, but I do like her. I actually like the song Anaconda, though I do prefer Fly. :)
