I got really nice reviews for my other story Beautiful so I thought I'd write again. Thanks for the encouragement guys! :)
Disclaimer: I don't hate Ron, but Draco should've been with Hermione since day one!
Draco Malfoy watched Hermione Granger from the Slytherin table. He ran his hand through his hair yet again and narrowed his eyes in concentration.
Why the hell is her eating chocolate such a tempting—no, delicious—no, odd sight?
She was eating a chocolate-type lollipop while reading (typical Granger.) Nothing out of the ordinary here.
Still, it was chocolate. No one knew that Draco had a bit of a sweet tooth, but Granger was threatening to reveal that to everyone.
Hermione blew a chunk of hair out of her face and stuck the Tootsie Pop into her mouth again. Even though her parents were dentists, she absolutely adored Tootsie Pops.
She'd even answered the infamous "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?" question.
Six hundred and thirty-five licks to be exact. It really varied but the number always revolved around that.
She was at her 300th lick when she felt the hairs on her neck prickle slightly. Someone was staring at her.
Hermione looked around the Great Hall for whoever it was watching her.
Draco ducked his head and shoved eggs into his mouth.
Damn, that'd been close. She almost caught him stari—observing her—her lollipop!
He glanced up again and saw that she was getting up to leave, taking her book (and lollipop) with her.
He internally groaned.
That feeling of someone watching her was starting to creep Hermione out so she decided to do the easiest thing: leave.
She grabbed her book and put the Tootsie Pop back into her mouth, practically sprinting out of the Great Hall.
The only place she could think of going to read in peace was the library.
Draco tried following her, but she was really fast. Hermione disappeared behind a corner and that's when he lost track.
The library! Where else does a bookworm go to read?
He reached the library and pushed the doors open, glancing around the room for Granger.
He found her curled up in an armchair, still sucking on that lollipop and reading.
"What the hell do you think you're doing, Granger?"
Hermione looked up.
"What?"
"You heard me. What do you think you're doing eating chocolate of all things?" Draco crossed his arms.
"I… like chocolate?" Hermione was shocked that Malfoy, of all people, was reprimanding her for eating a Tootsie Pop.
"Well, so do I! And that's a problem." He paused. "I have an idea," Draco smirked. "Share with me."
Hermione's eyebrows shot up. Share her Tootsie Pop. With Malfoy. Never!
"No!"
"It wasn't a question, Granger. Share." Draco came closer and leaned his hands on the arms of the armchair.
"No. It's my Tootsie Pop!"
"Your what?"
"Tootsie Pop. The lollipop." Hermione rolled her eyes. "Muggle thing?"
"It's still chocolate isn't it?" Draco was inches away now.
"Well, yes."
"Good."
He pressed his lips against hers, still managing to smirk when she gasped in shock. He took this as an opportunity to slip his tongue into her mouth.
Sweet Merlin! Tootsie Pops (whatever they were) are delicious.
And this is the best way to have them.
As for Hermione, she lost count of how many licks she had.
The reason: she was taking too much pleasure in snogging Mal—Draco. She should eat Tootsie Pops more often.
So this is my second attempt at Dramione. Oh, yeah! I need another disclaimer xD
Disclaimer: As delicious as they are, I don't own Tootsie Pops. The Tootsie Pop owl's the bestest though :D
I think the POV changes might be a little confusing to follow, but I'm sure you all are smart :) Hope you enjoyed the actual plotline, though. Drop me a line, why don'tcha?
