Gou walked quickly walked down the halls of the school without talking to anyone. She was not in the mood to speak with her classmates, friends, teachers, or anyone in that matter. She wanted to be left alone, in her own peaceful, quite world. A world where she didn't have to deal with any of her problems. A place where she didn't have to pull fake smiles or laughs, just a world where she can be by herself without any care in the world.

"Gou-chan!" A dashing young blond shouted her name in order to catch her attention.

Gou did not bother to make eye contact with the boy. She continued to walk down the halls.

"Gou-chan! Gou-chan! Wait up! I have to ask you something!"

The blond boy sped up to the red headed girl.

Gou quickened her pace when she heard the boy's foot steps coming near her. She was not in the mood to talk to anyone, especially one in particular, Nagisa Hazuki.

"Gou-chan!"He breathed out as he managed to catch up with her.

"What do you want?" Gou snapped, turning around to face him. She did not understand why he was so annoying, especially at a time like this.

Nagisa's eyes lit up in curiosity as he ignored the girl's snappy remark, to ask a question of his own. "Gou-chan, why are you in such a crummy mood today?" Nagisa asked through his heavy breathing, frowning slightly at the fact that Gou was in a bad mood.

Gou ignored the boy before he managed to utter a word of his question and headed down the stairs.

She paused and glanced back at the boy. Nasgisa watched the girl walk down the stairs in shock. He did not know what to say or what to do. He just stood there until reality came crashing down upon him and snapping him out of his reverie.

Nasgia ran down the stairs as fast as he could. He had to find Gou and ask her the question that he always wanted to ask her.

At the bottom of the stairs, Gou heard a sound of footsteps in the distance. The sound stopped her in her tracks. She turned around, and as she saw Nagisa, she quickened her pace only to be stopped by him on her arm, focusing her attention to him.

"Gou-chan, Please tell me what is wrong?"

With a small sigh Gou answers. "I am just not in the mood to speak with anyone. I really just want to be left alone. I feel terrible and I really just can't explain it nor could I give you a definite answer as to why, but you wouldn't understand. I am really just not in the mood, okay Nagisa? So can you please just let me be."

Nagisa stared at the red-head after hearing her response.

"Gou, if I leave you alone, you'll never feel better. I was planning on asking you something, but I think that can wait. Oh! What about some ice cream?! Ice cream always helps the spirit! We can also-"

Gou giggled at the enthusiastic blond who wanted to make her feel better.

"Come on Gou, let's go get some ice cream."

Nagisa grabbed Gou's hand as the both of them headed down the stairs and out the building.

Nagisa knows exactly how to make Gou happy, even just with one question.
