So many would have willingly fallen to their knees at your feet.

"I'm lonely."
That's what you always say.
I'm tired of that excuse –
Everyone gets lonely;
Those words aren't good enough.
I doubt you could ever love me.
Your mother never did.
And besides:
Have you ever cared for anything in your life?
Monsters only mate with other monsters.
I felt like hating you when you said that,
But you were far ahead of me by then.
Still,
There's something about you I can't resist.
And that's why I stay, and treasure you.
I don't understand it, but it doesn't matter.
I'll never let you know you mean the world to me.
The only thing harder than your body is your heart,
Which is so full of pain that I'm afraid to come near it.
Your skin is what makes it worth it.
It's sweet to the tongue, and warm to the touch.
And your hair – it's so long…and beautiful…
And it smells of your real finesse.
How did the sun ever rise for me
Without you around?
I'm indifferent to this lifestyle now
But I hope you know I'd be lost without it.

Ha…My only ANYTHING at this point.
You didn't judge me like the rest of the world
And in return, I forgave you,
Which was something I was never supposed to do.
Hello, everyone. I know this seems like an odd submission considering that I have a previous engagement with another story. These three poems were just a little something I cooked up long, long ago, and I finally wanted to share them.
