Sweets. The most wonderful gift from god to ever grace the surface of the universe! Or at least that's what you thought. So it didn't surprise your friends when you declared you wanted to open your own bakery. What did was you wanted to open it half way across the world in Japan.
It was a little thing but it eventually became the talk of the town. The young lady from America with the most amazing cakes they had ever tasted. People came from towns over to taste your red velvet cream cheese cakes and drink tea in the cozy booths.
It was a late Friday night and you were just about ready to close your shop. You had just said good bye to your last customer and mopped the floors. the tingle of bells alerted you to a new presence. You peeked through the port hole in your kitchen door.
A young man with spiky black hair and dark bags under his eyes took a seat -um perch- I one of your many booths. You bit the edge of your apron to suppress a squeal. You were in a way boy crazy and the young man across your shop was just your type.
After fixing your Lolita like attire and checking your makeup in a nearby spoon you skipped over to take the man's order.
"hello welcome to The Cakery what can I get you today? Today's specials are Earl Gray and pear tarts!" you told him in your most bubbly voice.
" I would like your red velvet cake and Earl Gray would be fin thank you." he mumbled though his thumb.
"of course. I'll make a fresh one right away sir it will be done shortly!" you chirped before slugging back to your kitchen.
"how rude he didn't even look at me!" you fumed. After beating your frustrations into your cake batter you placed the small cake in the oven and prepared the icing. "*sigh* maybe I was to forward or ugly."
the dinging of the bell took you out of your momentary pity party and you carefully removed the cake icing it and placing it on a plate.
"here you are sir red velvet and earl gra- AHHH!" the sound of breaking glass filled the small shop and you felt the icing seep through your hair and clothes. You slowly lifted a hand to remove some from your cheek but a hand stopped you.
"allow me miss." something warm and wet slid across your cheek and you shivered at the sensation and heat of it. After lapping up the last of the cake from your face the man pulled back and began to walk towards the door.
"definitely the best cake I've ever had." were the last words you heard before the rhythmic tinkle told you he was gone.
