Hello, Fan Fiction! Yes, yes, I know, I haven't posted a story in forever, but I have actually been writing. I just don't like sharing all my stories. But I'm here now! Ok, to understand this story, imagine like it's the movie Becoming Jane, not the plot but use their voices:) It's kinda old English. Enjoy!
*~*~*
Mother and I took a stroll into town today to fetch some apples and peaches for Maria, our maid. She said she would do it and that she was the help and we were treating her like she was the royal one. But Maria is old and weak; it's much easier for two young, healthy women to do it instead.
Father is throwing a ball this coming Saturday, in honor of my brother Ignacious' return from the war. My brother is a hero, all the men dream of being him and the maidens dream they could have him all to themselves. But, alas, Ignacious is already spoken for by dear friend Eloise.
Oh, my! I fear I have forgotten to formally introduce myself! My name is Mary, Lady Mary Maxine Ridoway. I have dark brown hair that is braided in one long braid to the small of my back and light brown eyes. I prefer my middle name rather then my first. Everyone in the kingdom addresses me as 'Max'. I was named after my maid, Maria, whom my parents have known since before we inherited the kingdom. Maria would take care of me as an infant.
Maria once told me the story of how I came to be known as 'Max'. She told me then when I was just learning how to speak, I would get Maria mixed up with Mary, so she just called me 'Max'.
I also have two other siblings, both of which younger then I by a good sum of years. Gazeray, my younger brother of twelve years, got the nickname of 'Sir Gasman' when he was only eight years of age. He always wanted to be just like Ignacious and he has quite the digestive system so the nickname came to us easy. Families of royalty, like our own, don't usually allow such absurd behavior, but he is only a wee child, so we let it slide on occasion.
And then there's my angel, Anberlie. I realize she is ten years old, but I still think of her as my little girl. She idolizes me like Sir Gazzy idolizes Iggy (that's Ignacious' nickname).
Ignacious and I are twins, although he is six and a half minutes older. We are alike in numerous ways, except our appearance. Yes, we are opposite genders, but along with that Iggy inherited my mother's strawberry-blond hair and pale blue eyes while I inherited our father's brown hair and brown eyes. Gazzy and Angel (my nickname for Anberlie) both inherited a mixture: Gaz with blue eyes, Angel with light brown, both with dirty blond hair.
Our father, Jebicous, owns the kingdom of Ridingham. He inherited the crown from my grandfather. My uncle, Samuel, was nun-too happy with that. He married a commoner, Lissabeth, took her surname, then moved far away to the kingdom of Spottsburough and never spoke a word to us again.
Spottsburough is home to quite a few people I don't fancy: Samuel and Lissabeth, of course, and then there's Figaro. Figaro is the prince of Spottsburough. He has long black hair, longer the any respectable male I've ever known, olive skin tone (don't ask, Ella told me) and dark brown eyes that you can so easily get lost in. He is both my sworn enemy, and my secret lover.

That's all I gots for now :) Tell me if it's good?? I'm not sure; tell me if I should continue by pressing that green button? I'd appreciate it!
Oh! None of you probably care, but it's my birthday tomorrow :)
Kaybai!
