"Kagome, when do we get to meet this infamous bad boy of yours?" Eri
questioned for what seemed like the hundredth time.
'I should never have said anything, now all they do is bug me!' With her sweetest smile she could muster Kagome replied, "I'm sorry guys, not today, I'm not feeling very well, and I want to get some rest." Kagome then hurried down the street as fast as she could in her attempt to get away. 'Inu Yasha is gonna be mad, I'm later than I said I'd be' Kagome thought, getting annoyed.
As soon as Kagome ran off Yuka turned towards Eri and Ayame and said, "Let's follow her. I bet she's just saying that, she didn't seem tired when she was running! I bet she's probably going to meet that mysterious guy of hers!" Eri and Ayame giggled at the suggestion, then ran off to follow after Kagome.
None of them were prepared for the sight that greeted their eyes upon entering the courtyard of the Higurashi shrine.
"Where in the hell am I, dog turd? A tall well-built man shouted. This in itself was not particularly extraordinary, but at the sight of the speakers outfit, all three girls stared open-mouthed. He appeared to wearing a very short fur skirt with a tail in the back, as well as fur leggings and arm bands. He also had on armor and a sword by his side. His long black hair was pulled back in a high ponytail. Most surprisingly he had pointy shaped ears, and seemed to be baring fangs.
"Kouga, how did you get here?" Kagome exclaimed, not yet noticing her gaping friends standing at the entrance to the courtyard.
"I don't know I just followed mutt face over there when I saw him jumping down this well," the fur clad man replied.
The girls then turned their attention to where the man had pointed at and again stared open-mouthed. There stood a guy in a bright red haori with his hand on a sword hilt. He had long flowing silver hair, wide amber eyes, dog ears on top of his head, and also seemed to be baring fangs! He then proceeded to draw the sword, which transformed into what appeared to be a large fang and shouted, "I'm really gonna get ya this time ya mangy wolf!"
Kagome then jumped in between the two men and screamed, "Inu Yasha, sit!" at which the dog-eared guy fell flat on his face eating dirt, and the other man started laughing. Kagome finally noticed her friends standing at the entrance gaping at the scene before their eyes.
After a moment Ayame got a hold of herself enough to speak. "So, um, Kagome is one these guys that bad boy you've been seeing?"
Kagome looked like she wanted to melt into the ground, but gathered her thoughts enough to form a reply. "Hehe. . .well, um. . .you see, . . ." at which point Kouga interrupted by walking over and putting his arms around her. "I don't know who this guy you're talking about it, but Kagome is MY woman!" he declared.
