Chan: An Endless Cycle of Bad Luck
Everyone knows him as that one guy that kissed Azula and somehow lived to tell about it, but what is his story and how far back does his string of horrible luck go? To find the answer, we need to go to the very beginning...
The dark bedroom...
Not that beginning... *Ahem* Like every other child of the Fire Nation, he was committed from birth both by the doctors on pain of death, and from his famous admiral father to serve his country to his dying days. The only problem was, he didn't know how. Growing up, Chan studied and trained hard to become a great warrior and leader like his father, but quickly got bored and discovered it was lame and took up a life of being a beach dude instead.
Pursuing his nonexistent dreams with the nonexistent support of his parents, Chan adapted to his life of drifting and beach parties until it became second nature. One day, he came across a gang consisting of three girls and a guy with a scar. After some apprehension, he invited them to his house for a party while his parents were gone. One of the girls, a strange amber eyed firebender, displayed a certain degree of infatuation with him. They kissed but of course once the blue fire started flying it all went downhill from there.
Days after the party and his house being trashed by said girl and her cohorts, he started feeling lightheaded and saw hallucinations. He had caught the crazies from Azula, who he had made the mistake of kissing. Despite the efforts of all the nation's best healers, he died. Thankfully this was a kid's show and as such they refused to show his death, he was swiftly forgotten anyways.
The moral of this story? It's probably a bad idea to kiss a girl who is turned on by the prospect of thousands drowning.
