Leonard's Letter

A/N: If you know my stories well enough, you'll know that I write about Leonard Lemming, the youngest of the Lemming brothers and Cadence is my OC who he's in love with.

The sun setting and Leonard was in his cabin. He took out a pen and paper and begins to write.

Dear Cadence,

Hey, how are you? I could ask you any day but I just felt like writing to you instead.

This is pretty much a letter that will never be opened because I know you deserve better than me. Today, you told me you weren't pretty. I looked at you in shock while you looked at me in concern. I couldn't say anything but I'll tell you now that you're not pretty, you're beautiful. The way you're brown hair is loose around your pretty face and how you're green eyes meet mine makes me have goose bumps. There are moments when we're alone where I just want to hold you close and kiss you.

I'll tell you now, when you were with Edward I was miserable when you would kiss him and hug him and he would hold you and caress you. I would hear people say that you were the perfect couple. I desperately want you out with Edward. When you brought me into your life I could tell the moment we were alone together something happened. A spark, nothing but a spark but slowly our friendship is growing into a flame that I'll help you burn it. When we first kissed, it was light but it was enough to make my body numb. When I told you I was in love with you, you told me you love me like a brother but after you two broke up; heck it's hard to keep a brother/sister relationship. That night I'll never forget, I found you by the lake crying and I went to comfort you. You snuggled in close to me. You made me promise you that I'll always be there for you and that's a promise I'll never break.

It's funny, after the pageant and I saw you backstage. I gave you that yellow daisy and you told me you didn't want to win because you were afraid of what I would think. I would have been proud of you but a part of me didn't want you to. We almost kissed that night. I can't wait for the real one. When we would be kissing till we couldn't breathe.

My God, you find me a wuss right now don't you? Well, I find myself a wuss too. Trying to make this as witty as possible but, Hein, isn't working.

Anyways, got to hide this before my brothers find it.

Lots of love,

Your Leonard Lemming.

He signed it and took out an envelope from his backpack and folded the letter and sealed the envelope. He wrote: To Cadence on the front. He took one last look at it before hiding it under his pillow. He sighed and looked outside. He saw Cadence at the end of the lake trying to teach Edward how to make the flat rocks skip on the water. He smiled on how Edward was getting frustrated when the rock with plop and sink and smiled even more when he heard her laugh as Edward would just throw the rock in frustration. Cadence Ferret: I Love You.

A/nOMG, don't you love the author's note? It's like, the own writer gets to critic their own story!! WOOT! Anyways, I miss Cadence, Leonard and Edward. I can't wait to start writing the next story but ya, still don't have any inspiration yet. ' I love Leonard Lemming; he's so cute the way I write him. He's all sensitive and emotional. Okay, more clearly, he's emo! Don't you love emo kids? You NEED to give them a hug. The letter concept was inspired by Dave's Letter by Hyper Spartan. The Loons are awesome!

Peace,

B&WRainbow.
