Sasuke always disguises himself.
He hides himself behind his disguises, tricking his teammates when they think they've discovered the 'real Sasuke'. Cracking through the first layer, they find the next, and think that's the real one.
They're wrong, the true Sasuke is hidden behind disguise upon disguise, putting up defenses endlessly, tricking others. Tricking himself.
He thinks that if he can keep it up, he'll be okay.
But inside, he's waiting for the day his defenses and disguises will all crumble, leaving the real him exposed to the world.
He can't decide whether that's a good thing or not.
Leetle drabble I wrote while 'studying' for my science test. Honestly, I have no idea where the idea came from. And, uhm, no, I don't own Naruto.
