What could have been.

What if the prince had trusted Farah? What if she never died? What if they'd destroyed the dagger so it could never unlock the sands again? Happily ever after? Maybe. After they get away from the palace.

Legal crap: I don't own Prince of Persia or, regrettably Milla Jovovich.

The Vizier looked on as the prince plunged the dagger into the hourglass, and chuckled. Just because the sands were imprisoned once again, didn't mean they couldn't be released once again.

The sands were disappearing now. All around him, they were being sucked into the hourglass, finally being sealed in the timepiece forever, unless he had his way. As he watched, the Prince and the insolent little brat he once served kissed. Stupid children. They wouldn't notice what he was doing. They hadn't even seen him. Slowly, he began to work his magic.
