AN: Just a random little drabble that came to me after I had my own disturbing nightmare.

Note, Une's first name comes from a friend of mine.

One shot but fits into the same "universe" as my other GW pieces.

The woman whimpered a bit, writhing slightly as she fought against the sheet-the only cover that remained on her. By the third time her unusual tossing and turning resulted in her hitting the other woman, Sally sighed and gave up on trying to sleep.

Instead, she gathered Hilde into her arms, and gently stroked her hair, running fingers through the Director General's hair and whispering soothing nothings to her. "It's ok, hun. Shhh. It's just a dream, just a dream, baby." She kissed her forehead, knowing how much Une would hate to have anyone else see her this vulnerable. "Just a dream. It's ok."

As Hilde calmed, Sally let out a sigh of relief. Unfortunately, this was when her partner's whimpering turned into discernible words. "Treize...stop...Treize!"

Sally felt her jaw clench as she took a deep breath, tightening her hold on the other woman. "Hilde, wake up." She shook her very gently, "Come on, baby, wake up."

Une calmed down, her breathing steadied, and she, thankfully, stopped whimpering anyone else's name. After a couple of moments, her eyes opened. "Sally."

"Bad dream?" Sally resumed combing her fingers through Une's brunet hair.

"Mmm." Hilde cuddled into Sally a bit, "Yeah, I suppose so. Sorry if I woke you."

The Doctor shook her head slightly, "It's fine. We all have nightmares from time to time. Considering everything we've lived through, I'd be more surprised if we didn't." They were silent for a moment, before Sally softly kissed Hilde's forehead, "That wasn't an accusation. I take it that it was about the end, the Tallgeese and Altron?"

"Huh? Why would you think that?"

"Right before I got you to wake up, you kept calling for Treize." Sally frowned slightly, but otherwise managed to keep any pain from her voice and expression.

Sighing, Hilde Une reached up and touched the other woman's face. "I'm sorry. And yes, that is what it was...at the end, anyway. Up to that point? It was a parade of faces, people I killed or caused to die, accusing me, rightly so." She sighed again and closed her eyes. "Sometimes I wish Relena had killed me."

Sally shook her head and pulled Une closer to her. "Don't say that. You've done a lot of you're loved."

Une nodded against Sally's shoulder. "You know I love you, right? That whatever feelings I ever had for Treize, they're not the same. I love you."'

"Yeah, I do." She chuckled softly, "And I love you, too. Now..." She pulled away from her and looked in the other woman's eyes, "Do you think you can sleep without dreams, or shall I get you something?"

Frowing, Une sighed. "This is why I should not have fallen in love with a doctor. I hate taking pills."

With a slight chuckle, Sally rolled over and opened the top drawer of the nightstand. "Well, next time don't have such traumatizing and mood-killing dreams."
