Lillias Natalia was raised by the marines after her island was decimated. Her memory wiped of the incident. She joins the Marines and quickly elevates in rank. Her world is turned upside down when she is taken captive by a band of pirates. Eventual, Strawhat OC.
A/N: This is a shortshortshort prologue. IDEGAF atm lol. I'll be periodically working on this and HoW.
A large older male entered the hospital room. The white and well lit room smelled of medicine and blood. The fear of death also loomed over those in beds. Though to the older male's dismay, not many survived the attack that happened the previous night. He stood at the foot of the bed of a young girl. Her blue eyes grazed into his very soul when she turned her head towards him. Besides the burns on her back, this girl had no other injuries. Rumors also said she'd been in the middle of the epicenter of the attack.
"How are you feeling?" The man asked after clearing his throat.
The girl shrugged and looked away. She'd acted very nonchalant about the attack. The pain from her burns didn't seem to bother her. It intrigued the marines.
"Do you think you could answer questions for us?" He leaned over and put his weight on the foot board of the bed.
She grimaced slightly and shook her head. "I don't remember anything. So, I don't see the point." She stated matter of factly.
The older man rubbed his chin. "That's what the doctor said. Said you got amnesia. You must've hit your head or..." He paused. "Everyone had a rough night." He sighed softly. "Do you think you're parents survived? Do you recall their names?"
The girl frowned and looked at him. She shook her head. "I know I grew up here. I don't remember the people though. I don't know if I even I had parents? I don't think if I looked at who was still alive would stir any memories. The only thing I recall is my name, my age and birthdate. Everything else is a blur." She grimaced and looked down at the blankets over her.
The man rubbed his chin. "Well, that'll be a start. I can look over records while you recover." He turned to walk to the door. "Your name is?"
"Lillias Natalia. I'm 10. My birthday is December 14."
