Once Upon a Time... over A Thousand Years Ago, The Monsters from Hell invaded the mortal realm.
A fiend known as Babanon ripped open in the sky releasing evil and nightmares across the known world, this terrible fate was known as the Breach. Babanon had come to conquer to weak but lost to one man. A mortal who was the youngest heir to the throne, joined the forces of the dark to stop hell from within. His name was Lucifer La'Croix now King he is known far and wide. He is praised to this day for he leads the delicate peace treaties between the realms with the help of the Seekers Council. The world was flooded as a result of the Breach. The once majestic countrysides and beautiful cities have been swallowed up by the Asparian seas. Many great heroes were able to clean up the last of survivable land. They also planted the roots for new societies to build. Their fortresses protect the innocent.
The world was never the same. Undead ghosts, spirits and monsters lurk around every corner. The fey visits the forests, undead haunt the graveyards, and the masses are forced to train and fight against the monsters which terrorise everyone — all marching under the banner of La'Croix. Meanwhile many of the noble families under the King are fraught with corruption and deceit. For there is someone wishes to see the world crumble once again.
One day an assassin known as the Pearl attempted to kill the beloved King. Her face was plastered around the globe as she escaped with a band of Mercenaries known as the Ball-Buster Brigade. They stole a ship and went off to sea never to be seen again. This crew of miscreants sail the open seas to this day on the Famous Ship known as "The Hateful Barnacle".
