Another quick idea. Jack is testing Sam's patience. Sam wants CJS. Read and review, please! Criticism gladly accepted!
It was so bad. And if it weren't for the whole "touched" thing, she'd have been court-martialed.
Sam remembered it all perfectly.
It would have been so much easier if she hadn't. But she did. She recalled how wild she had acted. And how he had started to wrap his arms around her. But then his military training kicked in.
Stupid military training.
She remembered her science teacher's description of two words. Acute and chronic. That kiss, along with many other moments, had been acute.
Intense and brief.
But she wanted chronic Jack syndrome.
Slow and long-lasting.
Of course, the intense hadn't been so bad.
And it didn't help that Jack was now testing her patience. He was seeing how long he could tease her before those nice, okay, dirty thoughts become thoughts of zatting him.
"Sir, don't touch that!"
He was getting close.
"Calm down, Carter. It's not like I'm going to break it!"
She sized him up. She could take him, couldn't she?
"Need I remind you of my three previous laptops?"
"Hey! The second was Siler's fault. The man can't throw a wrench!"
"Telling the man who is in the infirmary four times a week to 'toss' you a wrench is just a bad idea. Sir," she added belatedly. He rolled his eyes.
"You should be more respectful to your commanding officer, Major."
"Of course, Colonel." She said the last word as an insult.
"Don't you read your memos, Carter?"
"Huh? What memo?"
"I suggest you check your inbox then."
He walked (was that a skip?) out of her lab. She checked her inbox and saw the words, "OFFICIAL MEMO: As of 0700 this morning, The fraternization regulations are nullified."
Sam gasped.
fin.
Anyway, there it is! Let me know what you thought! Press that pretty button down there - I dare you to! :)
