Me: Hello everybody my name is Tokusatsu Universe and welcome to... Toku no Hero Academia! Now this is my first fanfic on My Hero Academia and after reading a few good fanfics of it, I have decided to do one myself. I'm doing the common theme of having Izuku be born with a Quirk here and I will give fully details of it here. So now let's begin!

Chapter 1: Prologue
"Kacchan, stop hurting him..." Muttered a Green haired boy who is stood in front of a boy who is being bullied and injured as he trembled with his body shaking and his green eyes obviously showing fear while in a somewhat deserted park. "Y-You shouldn't be using your Quirk to harm others for your own enjoyment!" He shouted vehemently, but still trembling.
"What's this, Deku." A boy with ash blond hair and red eyes laughs at him and grins evilly. "I can do whatever I want, you don't tell me what to do since you're below me." His hands were smoking and making small explosion sounds.
Izuku Midoriya looks on in fear and disbelief towards his 'former' friend Katsuki Bakugo. Ever since Katsuki manifested his quirk, he has become nothing more then an arrogant bully going around looking down on others who have quirks that are weak or no quirks at all and he revels in it.
Izuku wasn't going to stand for it as he hated when others would abuse their power to pick on those weaker then them. Anyone with quirks should use them to help others or improve the future in general.
That was why he chose to defend a helpless kid despite he is helpless as well. Even though he has no chance of beating Katsuki in a fight, he won't let anyone else be tormented further by him even if it cost Izuku his life.
"You are worthless!" Yelled a boy who is chubby looking and has red wings that helps him fly.
"He is quirkless, but it's still the same thing either way!" Shouted another boy with a long stretching left hand.
Izuku was shedding tears and clenching his teeth, but still held his ground in defiance. "That may be true, but since you abuse your own quirks to bully others... Than you don't deserve to have them!"
Katsuki and the two boys by him all glared at him especially Katsuki who looks very pissed. "Guess you need to know your place then, Deku!" He shouted before he comes charging at Izuku followed by the two boys as Izuku prepares to brace himself for a beating of his life.
Izuku puts his arms up in defense and closes his eyes tightly until... something happens as Izuku's arms were glowing a light green, then suddenly it shines very brightly and forms a big barrier around him. When Katsuki's fist made contact, the barrier pushes back and sent the three bullies flying away.
The kid Izuku was defending looks on in shock and surprise like when he sees those heroes in action with admiration. Katsuki's two goons were on the ground shaking and staring in fear after being tossed away by this quirk that Izuku somehow manifested. Izuku slowly opens his eyes to see this power in front of him in shock as he looks at the barrier around him and the kid.
"It seems you do have a quirk after all albeit it manifested much later then normal and I can see why." Said the doctor as he stares in amazement at Izuku manifesting a small bit of his Quirk on his right hand which is Dark Green.
The mother is also staring in awe at her son now finally having a quirk to finally become a hero that he dreamed of becoming. After the incident at the park, Inko Midoriya takes her son to the hospital to check about his quirk.
"Why did it took longer to manifest then normal, doctor?" She said in serious tone.
The doctor tapped his chin. "What kind of quirk do you have, madam?"
Inko takes a deep breath before she wiggles both her hands and the two figurines resting on the chair where Izuku placed them came floating towards both her hands. "I can manipulate small objects that are close enough to me, while my husband can breathe fire." She explained.
The doctor motions towards the X-Ray showing Izuku's left foot. "While most quirks are manifested at most at the age of four. Your son manifested it much later then most. Quirks are manifested when a person's pinky toe has one joint. It actually took awhile for your son's pinky toe to have one joint, but maybe it's because of the quirk's power that was displayed." He explained.
"Hmm, Izuku, how did you manifest your quirk?" Inko asked to her son.
Izuku looks down and sigh. "I was defending this kid with no quirk from being bullied by Kacchan and other kids with quirks. So when they tried to beat me up for protecting him, I brace myself for a beating by putting up my arms and that's when my arms started glowing Light Green, then a barrier formed around me and the kid and it pushed Kacchan and the kids away from me." Inko gasped and covered her mouth.
The doctor raised an eyebrow on when Izuku said about the color being Light Green when earlier he saw it was Darker Green. "Wait you said it glowed Light Green, when you manifested here, it was Dark Green. Hmm."
"What is it?" Izuku asked.
"It's possible that your quirk could have different aspects and makes it very versatile, almost like 'magic'... But whatever it is, you have a quirk and now its possible for you to obtain your dreams." Izuku smiled at the words he said.
Content with the results, Inko smiled as well and stands up. "Thank you for your time. We'll be leaving." Inko grabbed her son's hand and they left the doctor's office, who waved them goodbye.
"Why didn't you tell me you were being bullied, Izuku?" Inko asked with a stern tone that is so serious that her son would not lie to her especially now that he has a quirk to begin his hero career. This happened as soon as the two got back home.
Izuku looked down. "I didn't... want to worry you or get Kacchan in trouble." Izuku said with utmost honesty. Despite what Katsuki has become after getting his quirk, Izuku still cherishes his memories of him.
Seeing the sadness in her son's eyes, Inko knelt down to him and places her on his shoulder. "Being courageous enough to stand up to those who are your former friends is very admirable thing, but you need to let Bakugo-kun know that his attitude and action will have very dire consequences to him and so you should let him learn that what he is doing is wrong."
Izuku looks up at her to see the serious yet sincere look in her eyes that is she is right and shouldn't . With this look of assurance from her son, Inko noted to herself to have a 'very' long talk with Mitsuki about this incident.
With that out of the way, Inko decides to change to another subject. "Now with the confirmation from that doctor about your quirk. You can finally become a hero like you've always wanted Izuku."
Izuku slightly looks down a bit. "Are you sure that my quirk is powerful enough for me to protect people... What if, I don't have what it takes to be as strong as Kacchan."
"Izuku, you have what it takes to be the hero who will defend anybody that is trouble even if it's someone like Bakugo-kun. Never doubt yourself and keep your head up with confidence, to show the world that you're the hero it deserves and will follow." Inko shows off her confident smile and firm grip on her son's shoulder.
Izuku never seen his mother act like this, but it seems to give him the power to become the greatest hero, the world will ever known in ages. He would valiantly protect and save anyone that is in need of help even if it cost him his own life.
Izuku makes a smile that gives off that is strong-willed. "I will become the hero that I dreamed of becoming. I will achieve it no matter what!"
"That's the spirit Izuku!" Inko said as she hugs her son for more support with Izuku returning the gesture.
With this encouragement and support from his mother, Izuku finally has the newfound confidence and courage to become a hero to change the world for a better future to come.
10 Years Later
Years have gone by since Izuku manifested his quirk that he names it 'Superpower'. During those ten years, Inko and her husband divorced because she grew tired of him getting jobs aboard and rarely seeing him at home, but it was very mutual for both sides, so Inko isn't sad or bitter that he is gone for good neither is Izuku since he rarely sees his dad at home either.
Izuku trains himself to get used to Superpower and learning how to properly use it's three aspects of the quirk. After spending time with his quirk, Izuku knows what the color of his quirk does and mean as each do different things for him to better utilize them in the right situation.
The Dark Green aspect of Superpower is for Offense that allows Izuku to project energy attacks from anywhere on his own body usually eyes, mouth, or arms ranging from beams, balls, bolts, etc. However the output of damage from the energy attacks depends on Izuku's will.
The Light Green aspect of Superpower is for Defense that allows Izuku to project shields, barriers or temporary raise his physical defense. Izuku can even reflect attacks back at the attacker.
The Yellow Green aspect of Superpower is for Support that allows Izuku to enhance or heal himself or others. Another thing he could do is temporary reduce someone either their strength, defense, speed, and even quirks.
All of these three aspects project energy that is a different shade of Green. That's doesn't stop there, Izuku decides to take multiple martial arts to go along with his quirk to prevent himself from being over reliant of his quirk. Over the span of ten years he was able to master several martial arts to become the top fighter.
Izuku is a massive Tokusatsu fanboy since he was three, loving the likes of Godzilla, Gamera, Ultraman, Giant Robo, Kamen Rider, Metal Hero, and Super Sentai. But there is this one hero that Izuku admires since he was five. In addition to collecting the merchandise of all of the Tokusatsu franchises, Izuku also collects a particular Pro Hero related merchandise as well. He would often play with his Godzilla figure to go up against that Pro Hero figure.
Because of having a quirk that is very powerful, Izuku has changed his personality, while still being a polite and nice boy. Izuku is no longer a nervous kid and he won't be easily intimidated or scared by anything or anyone. He is a very confident boy but never crosses the line of being arrogant or cocky. He would courageously defend anybody in need of help no matter who it is. Overall Izuku changed for the better.
However the same can't be said about Katsuki Bakugo who still remains as a prideful jerk who has anger and hatred for Izuku, belittling others, and boasts that he will be the #1 hero. Izuku for the most part ignores him, while he doesn't hate him, he doesn't like him either. Katsuki does continues to claim that he still has the better quirk then Izuku.
Izuku noted to himself how his path and obstacles to becoming greatest hero in history just got a lot hard and interesting for him when he enrolls for U.A. Academy.
"Everyone, listen up! It is the right time for all of you to think about your future." Said the teacher as he was holding stacks of paper, smiling. Izuku was sitting in his desk continually writing his notebook, but he was listening while the other students were showing excitement over it. "Now I want all of you to turn in your career documents, but I think all of you have the ambition of becoming heroes, right?"
The class responded by gladly showing off their quirks while Izuku quietly raised his hand to show a Yellow Green glow on it. Izuku is the top student in his middle school having the highest grades then anyone else in his class. Izuku looks the same, but has a well-defined muscular body due to his training and is five feet seven inches.
"I can see the excitement very clearly. All of you have good quirks, but remember to not use them in certain places until you get a Hero License." The teacher reminded kindly.
However one particular person snorted. "Sir! I don't believe for a second that I'm in the same class as these people here." Said the person who happens to be none other then Katsuki who casually has his feet propped up on his desk and smiling very smug like. "I don't want to be seen in the same level as those with weak quirks."
Izuku just rolled his eyes and continues to write in his notebook. Katsuki is still an arrogant, rude, aggressive, and generally an unpleasant person that still looks down on others. Izuku is getting sick of it and tries to ignore it.
'He just never changes.' Izuku thought to himself. Everybody in the class were glaring at Katsuki for the comment.
"What's the big idea, Katsuki?!"
"Shut up, fodders!"
The teacher perks up. "Ah, yes. Bakugo-kun, I heard you are going to apply for U.A. High School."
Izuku stops writing before he turns his attention to Katsuki.
"Yeah, the best high school for Heroes! It takes a total score of 79 to enter this year!"
"Not to mention that the entrance examination is the most difficult too!"
Everybody stopped glaring and instead were looking down in sadness or others staring in fear, which Katsuki smirk at the display. "I'm not that surprise that all of you cower at the mention U.A. High School. I will ace that entrance exam!" Katsuki stood up from his chair and desk.
"I will surpass All Might and become the greatest hero that world has ever known in history!"
Izuku's eyes became half-lidded after hearing his declaration before going back to writing. The entrance exam is ten months away, so Izuku decides to prepare and train for it.
"Wait isn't Midoriya-kun also gonna apply for U.A. High School as well?" Said one person in the classroom. Izuku's classmates then looked to Izuku who stood his head up after hearing his name being mentioned and wasn't happy that someone mentioned him. Everyone in his class have respect for Izuku due to him being the model student both athletically and academically. Well not everyone respects him like...
"DEKU!" Katsuki bellowed charging at Izuku's desk with the intent to blow him up and burning that notebook he has been writing. "You'll never be on the same level as-"
Katsuki got interrupted as Izuku grabbed his wrist and sips Yellow Green energy into him causing Bakugo to become weak and barely standing with the palm of his hands releasing only smoke. However Katsuki still had his glare, but now it changed to discomfort as he felt his strength leave him for a moment as Izuku returns the gesture by giving him his own glare.
"We're not allowed to use our quirks here, Bakugo." Izuku lets go of Katsuki who gritted his teeth while glaring and grabbing the gripped wrist as he regained his strength.
"You think you can insult me of being in the same league as me?!" Katsuki yelled.
Izuku sighs. "Me applying to U.A. is none of your concern. Whether you feel insulted by me is none of my concern either."
A vein was growing on Katsuki's forehead as he grits his teeth hard an his hands began to smoke again. "What is that suppose to mean, huh?!"
"You shouldn't be intimidating others that are trying to become good if not better as you. You're so blinded by your big pride and ego, that you hate the idea that someone has a much more powerful quirk then you." Izuku replied showing no signs of nervousness.
Katsuki growled. "What did you say, you fucking nerd?!"
A bell has rang signaling the end of class, so Izuku packs up his things as he went for the door while he looks to see the students hugged up against the wall in fear while the teacher is hiding under his desk. Izuku shrugs and just walked towards the door.
"Nothing." He replied before opening the door and leaves to went about his business not even bothering to look back.
"Can anyone stop that thief!"
Everybody was watching as pile of gooey slime with eyes and sharp teeth starts running away with a few stolen goods. "You can't catch me!" The thing laugh as his voice is as gross as his appearance.
"Someone is coming to help us, right?"
"There is no end to this kind of people!"
"No need to fear, it's all fine now! Why? Because there is indeed an end to them because I am here!" A loud and heroic voice yelled as everyone turns and their eyes widen in surprise at who they saw.
"Look there!"
"No way!"
"It's..."
School has ended and Izuku is walking home after managing to evade Katsuki who wants unfinished business with him, but he quickly got out of class before Katsuki could go after him.
'So with the entrance exam ten months away, I can just do more training with my Superpower quirk and refine my martial arts more. After that I'll need to catch up on watching Kamen Rider Gaim.' Izuku thought as he walks through a tunnel and passed a sealed sewer entrance.
However as soon as he passes it, Brownish Green sludge being to pour out of lid of the sewer entrance. The stench caught Izuku's attention as he looks around to find, then turns around only to widen his eyes at the sight of massive sludge forming yellow eyes and sharp teeth. "Looks like I managed to slip past him..." The sludge said with a disgusting tone.
It soon caught it's eyes on Izuku and grinned maliciously. "Oh look, a very lovely body for me to take." The thing shot it's tentacles at Izuku trying to grab him. Izuku quickly dodges the first one before using Superpower: Defense that brings up a Light Green barrier shielding him from the rest of the tentacles thrown at him.
'This must be the thief from the morning news.' Izuku thought as he analyzes the villain. 'I can't keep defending and must strike back. I'll try to hold up as much as possible so that any Pro Hero can arrive and deal with him. But for how long'
The sludge villain was clearly showing frustration due to his tentacles not getting through the barrier that Izuku put up. "Oh come on, kid! I promise you it's not going to hurt a lot maybe a little. So let me take the body."
However the barrier starts to shine very brightly slightly blinding the sludge villain until it then burst into an Dark Green energy wave catching the villain off guard by the power that this kid displayed when it manages to knock him back a little. Izuku has his arms glow a Dark Green readying for another attack until...
"I am here!" Said a familiar heroic voice that caught Izuku by surprise and he looks to see a very large man with an equally muscular and well-defined physique. He has short blond hair, swept backwards, with two distinct tufts that stick up above his head, leaning slightly to each side. The person is none other then... All Might!
"You!" The sludge villain said with obvious hatred present as he shifts his attention to All Might. Izuku couldn't believe he is seeing his favorite Pro Hero idol in action and he put up his clenched hands with excitement.
The villain attacks with more ferocity then he does against Izuku as he shot more tentacles that have more power to it at All Might who quickly ducked under the attack before charging at the sludge while cocking fist back. "Texas..." His fist shot forward creating a huge wind pressure so great. "SMASH!"
Izuku generates a shield to protect himself from the very strong wind pressure as the impact disintegrated the sludge villain into nothingness. All Might uses an empty bottle to gather the remains of the sludge which is the one that houses eyes and mouth.
"Are you alright there young man?"
Izuku quickly disperse his shield and quickly looks up to see the recognizable grin that his idol was known for. "Uh, yeah! I'm perfectly okay, All Might. You arrived just in time, like you always do!" The obvious praise and admiration in Izuku's voice.
All Might laugh loudly, causing Izuku to grin in excitement.
"Well I'm glad to hear that. I'm sorry that I didn't arrive sooner. But thanks to you, I captured him!" All Might declared while making a pose and grinning as his teeth sparkled by the light of the sun now that they were outside.
'He is so much more cool in person!' Izuku thought as his inner fanboy emerges and he has stars in his eyes.
As Izuku gawks, All Might places the bottles in his cargo pants pocket. "Well now, I must take this guy to the authorities. That quirk you have is really something special, so I think you should keep practicing it and you will become a great hero one day!" All Might said.
Izuku widen his eyes after hearing from his idol. "You really mean it?!"
"But of course!" All Might laughs proudly.
"I was wondering... if could you sign my notebook?" Izuku asked as he pulls out his notebook to present to him.
All Might happily agreed to do so and wrote his signature across two pages in his notebook before he gives it back to Izuku, who was shaking in excitement.
"Alright then, farewell now!" After that is said, All Might bent his knees and launched himself into the air as Izuku watches him fly off in wonder. But unbeknownst to All Might is that he forgot to firmly secure the bottles and they dropped while he is flying in the air to a rooftop.
Meanwhile Izuku has a huge smile on his face as if today became the best day of his life. 'I not only met All Might, but he says I could become a great hero and got his autograph! Today, I'm just going to go watch Kamen Rider Gaim right now!' Izuku shouted in his thoughts as he begin to run with excitement while using his quirk to boost his speed.
In another area somewhere in the city...
"Motherfucking Deku! Such a pathetic coward running off! Next time I see him, I'll be sure to give it to him!" Katsuki snarled as he finishes drinking his soda before crushing it and tossing it away in anger.
"Calm down, Katsuki. Aren't you a little overreacting here?" One of his cronies asked while he smokes a cigarette.
"Yeah, I don't think you should be pick a fight with Midoriya. He sure has a very powerful quirk." The other crony said as his fingers extended which is presumably his quirk to get a cigarette.
Katsuki glares at the one with the finger quirk. "Shut up! That shithead's quirk is not powerful then mine, you got that!" He bellowed before kicking a set of bottles with repulsive content out of rage.
The other guy exhales some smoke, but Katsuki is now getting sick of talking about someone who is inferior to him and decides to focus on something. "Will you two morons stop smoking around me!" Katsuki turns around, but he doesn't notice the mass of filthy sludge rise from the ground, while his other friends did.
"What is that?!"
"Katsuki, behind you!"
"Huh?!" Katsuki turns around, but it's too late...
"Oh good, a body with a powerful quirk." The sludge villain grins evilly.
On the rooftop building somewhere in the city, Toshinori Yagi is leaning against the railings to recover for a few minutes to be able to use One for All. He looks very skinny man with sharp, angular features and long limbs, his neck long and his eyebrows absent. He is thought to himself.
'I've been thinking too much about finding my successor, that someone as a third rate villain was able to slip by me. I'm running out of time here.' Toshinori thought.
However before he could continue thinking, a loud explosion was heard from the distance. Toshinori then realizes that the bottle that contained the sludge villain is not in his pants when he checked and widen his eyes in shock.
"Oh god no..."
Izuku was walking on his way home after deciding to slow down a little from running earlier and take his time while happily humming with his eyes closed and smiling until an explosion was heard. Izuku opened his eyes to look around of where the explosion was at. He then runs to where the explosion sound was heard after hearing more it while running before he finally found the site with big crowd of people watching and several Pro Heroes he encountered earlier in the morning which are Kamui Wood, Mt. Lady, and Death Arms.
Izuku looks to see the sludge villain he fought earlier has escaped. The site was filled with destruction of the properties within the area. Izuku is only seeing the heroes not attacking the villain and are focused on the crowd and damage.
"Why aren't they fighting the villain?"
"A schoolboy is caught. The villain is using his quirk to cause the destruction here and heroes don't want to harm him."
Izuku takes a look further only to widen his eyes when he sees that the sludge villain has captured Katsuki Bakugo. To Izuku's bewilderment, he only see Katsuki's eyes full of despair and pain as he pleaded anybody to help him.

That's when Izuku decides to do the unthinkable and runs towards the sludge villain
Toshinori arrives, but is horrified to see the damage that was done and saw that the sludge villain has claimed a victim. But what is more horrifying is seeing the kid from earlier running towards the threat ignoring the crowd and heroes telling to stop. He could only look on helplessly...
"Bakugo!" Izuku shouted as he avoids the flames and debris littered around the site without slowing down, it shocked the witnesses of the crowd and heroes.
The sludge villain glared at Izuku clearly recognizing him from earlier and growls before he cocks back a glowing fist.
Katsuki's eyes widened in disbelief when he saw Izuku of all people come running towards with a worried expression on his face.
The now worried expression quickly turned into a glare as Izuku puts out his right arm out as Dark Green particles form and create a sword arm much to the surprise of the heroes and the crowd.
Izuku then jumps very high and while airborne, the sword arm glowed as Izuku puts over his head. "I'm not gonna let you hurt him any further!" He yelled in defiance before he makes a horizontal slash firing a sword beam straight directly at where the eyes and mouth.
However the sludge villain attempts to intercept the beam by using Bakugo's quirk to explode it with his fist. But the beam was too fast and it manages to hurt the villain as he close his eyes and yell in pain after receiving slice in the mid section, it surprisingly didn't harm Katsuki.
Izuku then grabs Katsuki by his clothes, but as he was doing this, Katsuki glared at him. "Why are you doing this, Deku?!"
Izuku glares at him back. "Can you just shut up!" He said as his arms glowed a Yellow Green and the sludge surrounding grip on Katsuki was weakening before Izuku's legs glowed a Dark Green and his feet shot out energy from the bottom, launching him and Katsuki backwards causing even more pain for the sludge villain as he is weakened more further.
Izuku generates a barrier beneath his feet as he and Katsuki landed on the ground, shattering on impact.
"Deku." Katsuki growled as he looked at him while he was on the floor.
Izuku paid no attention and was more focused on the sludge villain who recovered and reformed, but now he was very pissed as he charged angrily at Izuku. "As much as I can't stand you, Bakugo. It is still my dream to become a hero." Izuku has his arms out as they were gathering up Dark Green energy particles before they started glowing. "It is a hero's job to guard those who can't defend themselves. Not to mention your eyes were pleading for help."
Toshinori's eyes widen after hearing that before he makes a happy grin and watches the boy fearlessly walked towards the charging villain readying his attack for him.
"Giga Green Blast!"
Izuku slams both of his hands together and launches a big beam of energy at the villain. The beam become so bright, the crowd and the heroes covered their eyes to avoid being blinded until they opened their eyes to see the results. The villain is unconscious and a lot of his sludge have been disintegrated leaving no trace on the ground. The boy still standing the same spot with both of his arms still fine.
The crowd then erupted in cheer for Izuku as Toshinori made a victorious smile while watching from the distance.
'I have found him, he is the one...'
Izuku is walking a little exhausted after using his blast move and getting the praises from both citizens and heroes alike at the damaged site, however he was scolded by the latter to not do that again and leave it to the pros. One shocking moment for him was that he received a kiss on the cheek from Mt. Lady, much to jealousy of the males who saw that. As he continues to process what happened...
"Hey Deku!" Izuku hears a familiar voice, but decides not to turn knowing who it is.
"Don't think for a second that I owe you anything! I never asked to be saved! My quirk is still stronger then your's! You're still a nobody to me!" Katsuki shouted.
Izuku just sighs and continues walking. "You're welcome." He sarcastically said and is met with a scowl before he hears him go the other direction.
'Can't believe that even after what I did! he is nothing, but ungrateful!' Izuku takes a deep breath to calm down. Though he is surprised that Katsuki didn't go after him in retaliation for that other thing in school.
"I AM HERE!"
Izuku turns to see All Might arrive in the blink of an eye right before him. "All Might! What are you doing here?"
All Might laughed and puts his fists on his hips. "I wanted to speak with you Midoriya-kun." He said while he looks down at the surprised expression on Izuku's face.
Izuku's eyes widen. "What? You want to speak with me?" This day just keeps getting better and better for Izuku, not only does he get see All Might again, but he also gets to speak to his idol.
"Earlier, I saw you went up against the villain to save that boy despite the apparent bad blood between you two." Izuku nodded quickly while still smiling. "You did it without hesitation because it was the right thing when the other heroes there couldn't do anything. I can tell that your legs instinctively ran as soon as someone calls out for help."
Izuku nodded again. "I couldn't just stand there and watch someone get hurt. I will do it, no matter dangerous it is." Izuku continues to stare at the appearance of his idol as he continues to bare that famous grin.
"Now I believe what you just did earlier was the huge difference and the true ideal mindset of a Hero! I believe you will surpass me!
