He'd never gotten a chance to look at Naruto before. Sure, he'd seen him, but not close enough to admire the sapphire colour in his eyes. Never noticed how soft his skin was, running a finger down the younger shinobi's cheek was enough to bring a smile to his lips.
"Naruto…" Sasuke whispered, it was at times like this he could pretend that he was in love. He could curl up near Naruto and watch him with a loving look in his eyes. Take in every inch of his perfect being. Gently stroke his fingers through the others hair.
Naruto yawned and closed his eyes completely. Sasuke barely noticing the warmth of breath on his own lips, not noticing that he had drawn himself closer, his lips inches from the other shinobi's.
