Summary: Faith & Mother's Day.
Rating: If you watched the series, you can certainly read this.
Faith remembered Mother's Day, back when she was a little girl. The other kids were talking about it at school; a day just for Moms. The teacher had them make a card out of construction paper and glue; glitter and paper doilies. Faith remembered she'd been so proud, she'd made something special for Mom. The teacher said it was pretty and showed a lot of creativity, whatever the hell that meant to a little kid. On the way home, one of the bigger kids, Sean McGregor, grabbed the card and played keep away with it and, after he'd made her jump and cry, tore it to shreds and tossed the bits at her like confetti.
And her Mom yelled, 'cause she got snot and glitter all in her clothes, even though Faith tried to explain it wasn't her fault, it was Sean's, but Mom didn't listen.
Mother's Day, Faith thought, curling her lip while B picked out a card for Joyce, what a crock.
