Authors Note: Yes, this is another songfic of mine and it's something kinda different than the other thing I wrote, but oh well. This takes place after "Holiday", and for the sake of the story, Joey and Caitlin have been going out for a while. Oh yeah, the song is "I'd Do Anything" by simple plan and it's on their CD No Helmets No Pads..Just Balls. Tell me what you think of it in a review!!!

[ANOTHER DAY IS GOING BY]

[I'M THINKING ABOUT YOU ALL THE TIME]

[BUT YOU'RE OUT THERE]

[AND I'M HERE WAITING]

Caitlin was sitting in her office reading her e-mail, but her mind was else where. She scrolled down and saw there was an e-mail from Joey.

It said:

Dear Caitlin,

I hope you get this before you leave work, but I had to ask you something. What happened between us years ago was a mistake. And I'm sorry for what I did to you, so I was wondering if we could start over? And I was also wondering if you could meet me in Hansen Park around seven tonight? Please e-mail me back if you get this.

Joey

Caitlin read and re-read his e-mail many times before hitting the compose button oh her computer.

[AND I WORTE THIS LETTER IN MY HEAD]

[CAUSE SO MANY THINGS WERE LEFT UNSAID]

[BUT NOW YOU'RE GONE]

[AND I CANT THINK STRAIGHT]

Dear Joey,

Yes.

Joey was reading Angie a story when he heard a beep from his lap-top. He got up, after turning on the TV for Angie, and walked over to his lap- top, where he found Caitlin's e-mail.

[THIS COULD BE THE ONE LAST CHANCE]

[TO MAKE YOU UDERSTAND]

[I'D DO ANYTHING]

[JUST TO HOLD YOU IN MY ARMS]

As promised, Caitlin went to Hansen Park at seven o'clock and found Joey sitting on a bench overlooking a pond. Caitlin sat down next to him.

"Hi," Joey said as she sat down.

"Hi," Caitlin responded.

After sitting in silence for a minute Caitlin asked, "So, why did you want to see me?"

[TO TRY AND MAKE YOU LAUGH]

[SOME HOW I CAN'T PUT YOU IN THE PAST]

[I'D DO ANYTHING]

[JUST TO FALL ASLEEP WITH YOU]

"I just wanted to talk to you in person."

"Okay, what about?"

Joey paused before saying anything, "You know how sorry I am for what happened in high school, right?"

Caitlin nodded.

[WILL YOU REMEMBER ME?]

[CAUSE I KNOW]

[I WONT FORGET YOU]

"Well, I've been thinking all these years and after everything that happened, I still can't forget you."

"Joey-"

"No, wait there's something else I need to tell you. I have always loved you and I can't lose you again just because we can't get over something that happened in the past."

[TOGETHER WE BROKE ALL THE RULES]

[DREAMING OF DROPPING OUT OF SCHOOL]

[AND LEAVE THIS PLACE]

[TO NEVER COME BACK]

"You got to talk, so now it's my turn. I've missed you too, but I don't want to get hurt again. Joey, I love you, I always have loved you and after coming back here I've only realized it more."

"I'm glad you feel that way too."

"Why?"

[SO MAYBE AFTER ALL THESE YEARS]

[IF YOU MISS ME HAVE NO FEAR]

[I'LL BE HERE]

[I'LL BE WAITING]

[THIS COULD BE THE ONE LAST CHANCE TO MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND]

[AND I JUST CAN'T LET YOU LEAVE ME ONCE AGAIN]

"Because I wanted to make sure you felt the same way I do before I give you this."

"What?"

"This." Joey said pulling out a small box from his pocket.

"Joey," Caitlin whispered opening the box, reveling a nicely sized diamond set in a twenty-four carrot gold band.

"So, what do ya say? Will you marry me?"

"Yes! Of course I'll marry you!!!"

So, what did you think? Love it? Hate it? Whatever you want to say is fine.
