Prologue
I read your diary and it said: I'm no longer in love with him. I've found someone else who understands me. Who loves me. Who cherishes me.
All the entries had no dates. Ogami believed that his girlfriend, Sakura was cheating on him with someone else. So he left her. And started dating her best friend.
When Sakura figured out that he left her to date her best friend, she was heartbroken. She no longer went to school. No one could get her out of her room. No one could contact her. Sakura believe that she could not bear life any more. So she decided to confess to Ogami what it was actually about.
"Rei," she said into the phone with tears in her eyes. "The person in my diary…I was talking about you…Before I met you, I was secretly dating someone and I loved him dearly, but I met you. I was happy. You actually loved me and cherished me. I just wanted to say this before I say GOODBYE. I hope you have a nice life with her. Goodbye…Forever…" She cried before she remembered to end the voicemail.
Ogami was too late. He felt that there was a hole burning through his heart. His cellphone burned through his pockets. He had this feeling that he was missing someone…so he checked his phone. He deleted her from his contacts, but he still remembers her phone number. He knows he still loves her, but he left because he felt that he was being cheated on. Ogami cried when he heard what she said. He couldn't believe it. He kept on blaming himself. Why didn't he talk to her? Why didn't he ask her? I regretted everything. He wished that everything would go back to normal. He ditched his current girlfriend to go find his true love, but he was too late. He missed her. When he got to her house. It was empty. Completely empty. He stood in the hallway crying. He couldn't believe that she was actually gone. And so…he continued life as an introvert. He hated talking to people. He hated showing how he felt. He hated being near people.
Until one day…he met her again…
