It Was a Usual Sunday Morning

It was a usual Sunday morning, and Dewey was homesick. The three brothers Malcolm, Dewey and Reese decided that they wanted to go on a family trip to the Ontario Science Centre. Their parents also agreed because at the Science Centre you can learn new things and it's adventurous. The Science Centre is multiple floored; it has lots of diagrams about machinery and nature.

The family got ready and took the highway to go to the Ontario Science Centre. Their father forgot to check if there was enough gas in their car (the car was close to being empty). The boys started a conversation about their car, how old it was and how they hated it. Their father got angry and shouted "SHUT UP" at them because they couldn't afford to buy a new car.

Suddenly, after saying that, the car shut off. The boys started to laugh. Hal again shouted "SHUT UP" at them. From there the boys get angry and sneaked away from their parents on the highway. When their parents came to know that the boys aren't there, they got worried. But they couldn't leave to go look for them because they had called a tow truck for some gas. The boys went to the Science Centre walking because they had nothing else to do and it was only a thirty minute walk. When Malcolm, Dewey and Reese reached the Science Centre, they decided to call their parents and tell them that they reached the Science Centre. So then Malcolm called:

Malcolm: Hi mom, we're at the Science Centre.

Mom: Who did you ask that you can leave?

Malcolm: We were just bored, and we had nothing to do.

Mom: Well now you have something to do! Go to the gas station and buy a litre of gas and bring it to where our van is!

Malcolm: Well . . . . . O K.

When the phone got disconnected Malcolm told the story to Reese. Reese said that we will do the job, but take extra long time. So they went to the gas station and bought it. From there they left and headed towards the van. While going to the van the three brothers were talking about how mean their parents were. When they reached the place where the van was, their parents weren't there. So they had to walk back to the Science Centre. When they reached the Science Center, their parents were in the parking lot. Their parents said to them "Thanks for the oil." The problem of the van was resolved by the tow truck bringing the oil, even though it came after a long time. The whole family was in a bad mood. Hal then decides they go for lunch because they left for the Science Centre in the morning. They go to Pizza Pizza. To make the boys happy he said that you can get whatever you want. Their father didn't know that this location charged more than the normal locations. The boys got extra slices and more desserts. When the time came to pay the bill it was $86.72 for fast food for 5 people. Hal said to the cashier "We could have gone to a buffet at a restaurant."

Now the boys were happy because they took their anger off on their dad's money. But the parents were still down. The boys knew that if they went to tour the Science Centre with their parents it would be boring. Therefore the boys went together without their parents and Hal and Lois went together. After touring around the Science Centre, Hal felt a little better. The boys were looking at a machine that tells your mood. It worked for Malcolm and Dewey, but not for Reese. So in anger Reese started kicking the machine and broke a part of it. The security came and called his parents, and they were all kicked out of the Ontario Science Centre
