Chapter One: Reflections
"Wow, Cherry Blossom, this place is huge!" Cherry Blossom looked over at her best friend, Fix It, as she looked around excitedly. Cherry Blossom had to share her friend's enthusiasm. The castle was huge. She still couldn't believe that they had gotten in. "Fix It, we owe it all to you! Your idea was great!" Ribbonella, Cherry Blossom's other friend said. "A robot dragon? Brilliant! Everyone at the Young Pony Inventors competition loved it! Too bad you won 2nd. But at least we have a three-day pass! I have never seen Princess Twilight up close!" Cherry Blossom nodded to agree with Ribbonella. Fix It grinned. "Let's keep up with the group, guys." Cherry Blossom said. They were a few feet away from the tour guide. The three ponies dashed up with the group. "And," The tour guide said. "Here we have the Chandelier Heart. The Chandelier Heart two hundred years ago, at the request of Princess Twilight Sparkle, because of the Elements of Harmony. It was made in reference to it, from the fight many, many years ago. It all started even more years before that..." "Do we have to listen to this?" Ribbonella whispered to Fix It and Cherry Blossom. Cherry Blossom looked around, then shook her head. "Let's go search on our own." She looked over at the hallway of doors to the right of then. She walked over into the hallway, her friends following.
"Wonder what's behind all these doors." Cherry Blossom said as she looked around. "Probably storage." Fix It said. "Yeah." Ribbonella said. Cherry Blossom shook her head. "I bet not." She walked over to a red door and tried opening it. "Locked." she said. "Something valuable has to be in there." "Cherry Blossom, I don't think we should be doing this..." Fix It said nervously. "Yeah," Ribbonella said. "We should just go with the tour guide again. We could somehow entertain ourselves." Cherry Blossom wasn't listening. She had taken a bobby pin out of her mane, letting it fall loose. She was trying to pick the lock. "Ugh, how do you get this!" She said, annoyed. She went back to work on the lock. "Cherry..." Fix It started to say. "Got it!" She exclaimed gleefully. She pushed the door open and walked inside. Ribbonella and Fix It followed her in, scared. "Woah, that's tons of mirrors!" Cherry Blossom said. "Yep," Fix It said quickly. "That's great, let's go." "Stop being such scardy cats!" Cherry Blossom said. She looked over at a mirror. "This mirror is weird! It shows a completely different pony than me!" Cherry Blossom reached over to tap the mirror. When her hoof touched the surface, the mirror rippled and her hoof went through. "Woah!" Cherry Blossom said. "Okay, that's too weird." Ribbonella said. "I'm going back to the tour guide!" Fix It said. Ribbonella nodded and they both dashed out of the room. Cherry Blossom sighed. Her friends were scared of everything! Wonder what's on the other side... Cherry Blossom. She put her whole leg in, then the other, then stepped completely into the mirror.
