It was January 17, 2016. The sky was heavy with clouds, dusting the ground with cold snow. A naturally pink (he says salmon) haired man crunched through the snow in Yokosuka, Japan. He was slowly making his way to the train station. He had a new job, and he didn't intend to be late.

He sighed and watched sadly as his breath turned into mist and danced away. He had left his cat, Happy, at home. He got fired at his last job and lots of jobs before that one, because he had brought Happy into work. He didn't understand why he couldn't bring him. He and Happy had a close bond!

"And they call me crazy." He muffled into his scarf, stuffing his hands into his pockets even further. His job at the train station was to watch over the trains whenever it snowed. He didn't like snow, but he was desperate. He needed a job.

When he reached the train station, he saw a girl. A girl with dazzling brown eyes, and beautiful blonde hair. She was dusting off the windows of the train. She turned around hearing his footsteps.

"Hi. I'm Lucy. I'm your coworker. Well, your only coworker. No one really wants to work here" She chuckled. But her happy face turned into a confused one when all he did was gawk at her. "What's wrong? Do I have something on my face?" She frowned, lightly patting her cheeks. But was taken back when he hugged her.

"Lucy! I-I-I found you! Or you found me! Either way, You- your here! I missed you so much! When that dragon killed you, I thought I would never see you again!" He sobbed into her neck.

"Natsu?!" She gasped. "Natsu! Your here! After all these eras! After all these years!" She cried, holding onto Natsu as if he was her last hope of living. "We're together again!"

"I searched for you! Every life, every era, and I never found you!" He broke down, kneeling down on the ground, he brought Lucy with him. "I only had ever found Happy, droopy eyes, iron head, and Juvia! But now your here! And you're all mine right? You waited for me, right?"

"Of course I waited! I would never betray you!" She said, lightly kissing him on the lips. "You're mine and mine alone. And I never lost hope! I found Lisanna, Mirajane, Levy, Max, and Droy! But they said they never found you! I felt lost, but I believed in you! I knew you would be there one day!" Her voice cracked.

"Well, let's quit this job! We can live at my place! With happy too! There's plenty of room! We'll start a new life, and we can rebuild ourselves, together!" Natsu stood up weakly, but managed to help Lucy up as well.

"Yeah. I'm all fired up, Natsu."

The two walked home, and much to Happy's delight, they started a new life.

9 years later-

Lucy rocked their newborn boy, Igneel, back and forth while Natsu made dinner for their 5 year old girl, Nashi, in the kitchen next room over.

"Hey Lucy?" He turned to her tears in his eyes.

"Yes Natsu?"

"I love you. And I'll find you through every life again, just to see your face." He croaked tears falling down his face. "You make me so happy."

A tear escaped Lucy's eye, and she said, "I love you too, and I'll wait for up you forever more, through every life." "I'll be there."
