"Gold, it's all your fault! That's why we're stuck in a stupid cave, waiting to be rescued! You're horrible!" Crystal yelled.
"It's not. I only wanted to take you on a nice little date, but oh, I didn't know there would be a cave in!" Gold yelled back.
"You jerk!" Crystal shouted.
Gold shrugged and took out a small pack from his bag. He could see from the corner of his eye that Crys was staring at that pack. He opened it and started eating the cookies. Mmm... this is heavenly. He looked guiltily at Crys, who was glaring at the walls of the cave, determined not to make eye contact. Gold sighed inwardly, and continued chewing his cookies. He could now feel Crys staring longingly at the pack of cookies.
"Want one? My mom baked them." Gold asked, offering the pack to Crys.
"Why do you have that?" Crys asked, eyeing the pack.
"I'm always prepared, since I know I'll get hungry quickly." Gold replied, munching on another cookie.
"I don't want one." Crys said with a pout.
"You sure? I know you want one." Gold said, waving the pack enticingly.
"I'm not hungry." As soon as Crys said that, her stomach let out an audible growl.
"Yeah right, Crys. Don't be stubborn. Take one." Gold said.
"Oh, alright, only because you made me!" Crys said stubbornly.
Crys reached out for a cookie, only for Gold to hide the pack behind his back.
"What the hell, you jerk!" Crys yelled.
"I'll make a deal with you. One kiss for a cookie." Gold said, smirking.
"No! I will never kiss you, stupid." Crys answered, blushing bright red.
"Oh, alright... how bout only on the cheek?" Gold asked, patting his cheek.
"No, ohh, alright... No monkey business, idiot!" Crys replied, leaning forward.
Suddenly, Gold turned around and kissed her right smack on the lips. Crys let out a mental scream, but felt herself melt into the kiss. Without realizing, she started kissing him back. God, why did she have so little self-control? Just then, she felt Gold force her mouth open and he pushed something in. That snapped Crys back so reality and she pushed Gold away, both of them blushing.
"You... cheater!" Crys yelled.
Sure, she enjoyed the kiss, but she felt indignant somehow.
"Whatever, we both know you loved that kiss." Gold answered.
"I kept my end of the deal, so where's my cookie?" Crys asked.
"In your mouth."
Crys suddenly felt aware of a cookie in her mouth. Eww, so that was what Gold fed her when they... kissed? Crys didn't know whether to spit that cookie out or not, but she ended up swallowing it. Mmm... chocolate... Gold smirked at Crys's happy expression.
"Can... I have another cookie?" Crys asked uncertainly.
"Only for another kiss." Gold said, waving the pack of cookies.
Crys hesitated, before leaning in to kiss Gold. That kiss lasted a little bit longer, and it was good, Gold told himself. Yummy, Gold thought giddily.
Crys pulled away much to Gold's disappointment and said, "can I have my cookie now?"
