The Fearless Stranger
The ground shook hard, the buildings cracking under the impact of the force. Smoke and dust filled the air masking the creature that hid behind. A young figure stood off to the side holding something in his hands. He was wearing a cape and mask. He yelled to the creature, "Who are you?!" The creature stepped back, almost frightened. Then her face changed into a look of anger. Her eyes glowed green and she shot them at the boy. He jumped out of the way. A blue light hit the girl in the back making her topple forward.
"Boo yah. I saved your butt Robin!" Yelled a boy who looked half robotic and half human. The other boy looked angrily at him.
"I had it under control Cyborg. Where is Raven and Beast boy?" Robin yelled to Cyborg.
"We are right here." Raven stated. She made a black circular dome around the team and the girl.
Robin walked slowly to the girl and tried to figure out who she was and where she came from. "Who are you? Where do you come from?" The girl's eyes started glowing green again. Robin dropped his weapon and started walking slowly towards her telling her that he wasn't going to hurt her. She then hovered over to him and grabbed him by the shoulders. She looked him in the eyes and kissed him. Beast boy and Cyborg stood star struck. The girl let go of Robin and he almost lost his balance but quickly got his cool back.
"I am Starfire. I am from a planet called Tamaran. I am a princess running from the law as my big sister has left me to take her place in jail for a crime I had not commit but I suggest you stay away if you wish not to get hurt." She flew up in the air and aimed her eye beams at an incoming floating ship. She shot it down and big alien creatures came out.
"Starfire of Tamaran, come with us. You have committed a crime and you must pay." An alien said. The group of aliens started coming towards her and the group. Robin looked at the team and they all nodded their heads knowing they were going to have help her fight the aliens. They all ran towards the aliens fighting them and knocking them out. When they had beat all the aliens Starfire grabbed them all and hurled them into night sky. She floated down to the ground and thanked the team. Robin grabbed the Tameranians hand.
"Starfire, you are welcomed to stay with us here on earth." Robin stated blushing a bit. Starfire giggled.
"Are you positive? Is it the ok with your team members? I do not wish to intrude." Starfire responded and Robin looked towards to the team and they nodded in approval. He smiled happily.
"The team is ok with it Starfire." Robin smiled and grabbed her hand leading her to the team. "This is Raven,' He pointed to a girl with dark purple hair, blue cloak with a hood with matching black soles, with a leotard like-long sleeved shirt that is dark blue with cuffs at the wrists, 'This is Cyborg,' He then pointed to a half human-half robotic person, 'This is Beast boy,' He pointed to a green creature wearing a purple and black full body suit with gray gloves and purple and gray shoes,' And I'm Robin." He said pointing to himself. Robin led the way to Titans Tower and told Starfire where she shall be sleeping.
"Robin?" Starfire whispered once she got settled into her new room.
"Yea?"
"Thank you."
"No problem."
"May I bother to ask if you may stay in here tonight while I fall asleep?" Starfire asked blushing.
"Um yea sure no problem Star." Robin blushed but he stayed in a bean bag chair till she fell asleep and he slowly got up leaving the room once she was knocked out.
