Konnichiwa minna!
How are you? I know, the summary sucks but i hope you find the fic better. I am here with a fic about our beloved detective. It is a one shot (unexpectedly short). I hope you like it. So, R&R!

Yawn.
He closed the book in his hand and kept it in his bag. The other members in the room were busy talking among themselves. It seemed to be a very funny topic as everyone was bursting into giggles. Maybe it would be nice to join them but that meant waste of precious energy. He better replenish his energy by sleeping, his favorite pastime.
He was about to go to sleep when Satoshi said something particularly funny. Houtarou's eyes wandered around them skeptically as they started laughing. But his eyes stopped when he saw Chitanda.
Her face which showed curiosity to hear the joke suddenly turned bright. Her face lit up as her beautiful eyes sparkled like they did when she was curious. Laughter escaped her lips as she convulsed. Her hand flew to her face in a ladylike manner as she started laughing. After a few seconds, she stopped with deep breaths and giggles which threatened to break into another peal of laughter.
Seeing this, Houtarou froze like a statue. His eyes widened a bit as hi heart beat quickened. He felt his throat go dry and he looked as if he was in a trance.
Suddenly, the bell rang indicating that it was time to go home. The loud sound startled Houtarou out of his trance as he let go of a breath he hadn't realized he was holding. Luckily for him, nobody noticed his condition as they started o pack their bags. Then a thought hit him.
I'm in freaking love with her.
