Amy and Rory stared at the picture, it had been years since Demons' Run, they knew she was their daughter but they couldn't see it.

The crazy blonde curls were foreign to the straight red hair of Amy, and the brown of Rory.

River's shorter more curvaceous form contrasted with Amy's slender height.

The silence between the couple was broken by the back door opening but there was not enough time for Rory to hide the picture,

"who's that?" Brian asked looking down at the photo, "is she a relation?"

Amy and Rory exchanged a stunned look,

"she looks nothing like us," Amy told him,

"yes she does," Brian told her, "that hair is from your mother's side of the family," he told Rory, "I have never met any people with hair that curly. She has the eyes too and Rory, she's got your nose. She definitely has the Pond sense of fashion, and the same stature as your Mother Amy," he paused for a second, "if you had a daughter, I reckon she would look like her, now if you will excuse me, I have to finish weeding," and with that Rory's father left the room.

Amy and Rory looked back at the photograph; the crazy blonde curls from Rory's mother, sisters and their mother. Her shorter curvaceous form belonged to Tabitha Pond, her beauty was definitely from Amy and her eyes and nose – a perfect copy of Rory's.

River Song was definitely their daughter.
