A/N- I just wanted to write a story about Lily and Petunia's childhood and somehow this came out of my head. Lily is five and Petunia is seven.

Five-year-old Lily Evans sat on her swing in the front porch looking towards their garden. Winter had just faded and the flowers welcomed spring with their blooms. The sun was setting, giving the entire place an orange glow. Lily's cat, Pearl, laid on her lap purring softly while Lily caressed her. She loved to sit here and stare at the flowers.
"Go to sleep now, Pearl. I know you haven't had enough rest at night," she gently spoke.
"Lily!" came a shout from the house, "get inside! It's getting chilly."
"Alright Mum!" Lily yelled. She hopped swiftly off the swing, completely startling Pearl. The cat gave her a look of annoyance and ran out to the yard.
Inside, Lily's mom stood in-front of the stove, cooking. Her older sister, Petunia, was slouched against the dining table drawing something. "Tuney, what are you drawing?"
"A castle," she replied, too engrossed in her painting to look up.
"But that doesn't look like a castle," Lily commented, looking at the picture, "It just looks like a house with too many colors."
"What do you know about drawing?" Petunia sneered, turning to Lily.
This remark made the young girl curl up her forehead and glare at her sister, "I do know about drawing!"
Petunia turned back towards her art but Lily snatched it away. The second she touched it, the whole painting transformed into a beautiful castle. Petunia stared at it, wide-eyed. Lily was very shocked herself. "What did you do?!" Petunia shouted.
"Girls! What is going on?" their mother demanded. Her eyes landed on the drawing, "Tuney, did you draw this?"
Petunia looked at Lily and then at the painting. She lowered her head, "I'm going to my room now."

Lily felt horrible because now, Tuney was very mad at her. She didn't even know what she did; weird things like that happen a lot with her.
She climbed upstairs to their room and found Petunia lying on the bed upside down. "Tuney, I'm sorry." When Petunia didn't respond, she went on, "I didn't know your drawing was going to change. You can draw more pictures and I'll never comment on them again." Lily said solemnly.
Petunia turned. "Promise?"
"I promise."
"Well… your castle was pretty," Petunia said.
"Really?" Lily asked.
Petunia nodded, "When I grow up, I'm going to live in a castle just like that."
"Where am I going to live then?"
"You'll come with me!"
"You'll take me with you?"
"Of-course, I will! Sisters have to stick together."

That was the end of the memory; Lily Potter came out of the Pensieve. This memory was one of her favorites; it was one of her most cherished memories with her sister.
"I miss you, Tuney," she said out-loud. She turned to look at the painting that she had kept for all these years; it was the castle, their castle. She smiled, remembering.
