So, I listen to Meltdown a lot, and I was inspired to write this poem about it. I hope that you enjoy it, please tell me what you think; it's odd for me to write poems! w
We glare at each other across a barren battlefield of a war of emotions,
Our interlocked eyes intently staring.
Your innocent smile stabs me in the heart, it kills me that we can't be one of the same, right now, but soon enough we will.
Never have I thought of being in this depressing situation, it caught you by surprise too, now didn't it?
You think that you want to be me, but you don't know how much I long to be in your shoes once more.
You are so naive that you can't realize that perfection was standing right before you, yet you still kept endlessly searching for it.
If only you knew how I feel now.
My hand reaches out to you, your hand only hesitates for a moment, and I anxiously wait until your small hand collides with mine.
Now you think that you've grasped what you were looking for,
But you're wrong; we will both meet our fate together,
Even if you didn't take my side,
We would still join each other
On the other side of the blue light.
