James was right behind me laughing. I knew that he could have killed me instantly but for some reason he chose to hold off and play with me for a little bit. Where was Edward? Where was Jacob? Either one of them would be fine right now. I turned a dark corner, old wet alley, but to my surprise it was a dead end. What was going to happen to me?

"So my dear little Bella; all alone now are we? Where's your beloved vampire or that smelly hound of yours? Did they lose interest? If I were them I would. I don't know what they see in you; a worthless excuse for a human. But," he paused smiling. I was frightened and I knew this would be the last breath that James would let me take. I inhaled deeply and held as if holding on to both my monsters for dear life knowing that I would never see them again. "You have made my existence very interesting Bella. I appreciate that. But sadly, good things never last forever. Good-bye Bella my sweet."

And at that I was on the floor, James pinning me there laughing even harder. "Good-bye Edward! Good-bye Jacob!" was all that I could say. But suddenly a distant roar came from behind James. It most definitely wasn't human and it didn't sound like Edward. This time I smiled at James. "Good-bye James!" was all I had to say. James's smile disappeared. It was Jacob charging straight for James that made that roar. It was very scary to see Jake in such frenzy. It was like nothing that I had ever witnessed. But it suddenly hit me. Victoria! If James was here so was she.

Jacob took one great leap towards James, throwing him off me with such force it was unreal. James regained his balance and smashed into the brick wall that I was sure to be the death of me. The Jake wolf began to bark at me which I took as a message to run. I got up and of course clumsy me I fell again.

James and Jake were really going at it, but as from what I could see James was no match for Jake. Once again I tried to get up. Finally succeeding; I ran across the street and was surprised that no one could hear the dispute that was occurring. But one thing did keep me scared; where was Edward? Jacob and James had taken the fight down the street. I ran down the street to ensure James would not find me in case, God forbid, Jacob were to lose. I pulled out my cell and dialed Edward.

It just rang and rang; that was so unlike him. So I tried Alice; still no answer. After I tried all the Cullen's I nearly gave up hope. What were Victoria and James doing here; as if that wasn't obvious? I called Billy and to my surprise he answered.

"Hello,' said in a hoarse voice as if he were tired of something. 'Bella is that you? Oh thank goodness! Listen! You have to get over here right away. Your damn bloodsuckers are having a feud with the red head. And she's not alone." Was all he said before hanging up. I ran down the street where my old truck was parked before James decided to scare the crap out of me.

It took me ten minutes to get to La Push. It was strangely quiet, that scared me. But as I parked in front of Billy's house a loud growl came from behind my truck. But then another on my passenger side. It was too dark to see what it was; but all I know is that there was more than one and that they weren't here to say hello. I turned on my head lights to try and brighten the place up a little. I soon began to regret that. Two men and a woman were standing in front of my truck with an evil frenzy to their face. Newborns! What could possibly go wrong now? Spoke too soon. Behind them Victoria stepped out smiling.
