So Morgan thought he could escape the interrogation by closing the elevator? Think again. :)
Usual disclaimers apply.
"You can't run from us…"
"Oooh, watch me." Derek Morgan gave a little wave as he prevented his colleagues from entering the elevator.
As the doors closed, Emily sighed in exasperation. "There's more to this than he's telling, you know."
"Well, we could always crash his place," her young colleague said, his eyes giving off a devilishly angelic look.
Emily stared. "Really?"
"Oh, yeah. But let's grab some dinner first…I've seen Morgan's refrigerator, and mine's better stocked." As much as Reid wanted to get to the bottom of this little affair—after all, things had been pretty boring of late in the office—the thought of a good grinder sandwich still nagged at him.
"I'll get the car," Emily said, pulling out the keys to her Lexus.

Morgan turned the key in his apartment door, glad that he'd been able to shake off Reid and Prentiss. Though he considered them as family, there were just some things that a man needed to keep private. He'd taken the time to have the burger he'd been dreaming about since they'd gotten back from California—one with extra ketchup and no onions—and was now ready to just sit back and ponder this Agent Todd over a month's worth of House episodes he'd backlogged on the TiVo. The door cracked open, and he stepped into the dark kitchen.
"Well, finally!" a voice said, startling the agent almost out of his shoes.
"Federal agent," Morgan called out, pulling out his sidearm. "Show yourself!"
"Whoa, whoa, Morgan, relax," Emily called, standing up from her perch on Morgan's couch. "Don't shoot." Beside her, Reid also rose slowly from his seat over on the recliner, his arms raised in a show of surrender.
"Emily…Reid…" Morgan sputtered, returning his gun to its holster. Then his voice grew suspicious. "Reid, you didn't pick the lock, did you?"
"Ah, well, no…" Reid began. "Remember that key you gave me so I could feed Clooney while you were in Chicago?"
"Yeah. You said you lost…why, you little sneak!"
Reid merely settled for looking cute and innocent.
"So, about this Agent Todd…" Emily said. "We're all ears."
"And we had dinner," Reid pointed out. "Took you long enough."
Morgan shook his head. Should've known I wasn't getting out of this that easy, he thought to himself as he settled on the couch.
