"How dare you Azulon." The words came from her lips in a whisper. "How dare you threaten my child."

"Ozai spoke out against his grieving brother, Ursa," Azulon paused, pressing his fingers to his lips momentarily, "I see that it is only fit that his punishment fits his crime."

Ursa blinked for a moment, but let no other sign of surprise show.

"So you're making him murder my only son?" Her eyes burned as she stared at him, she felt as though she could shoot fire from them, "That is not a justifiable punishment, Azulon. You've gone too far this time."

Azulon raised a brow half an inch, "This time?" He questioned in his voice that was rasped from age, "Would you like to tell me what you mean?"

Ursa paused, "You know exactly what I mean."

A minute or two of silence fell between them. Ursa studied Azulon, her eyes blazing, and Azulon considered Ursa and what to do to make her leave him alone. Finally, Azulon made up his mind and spoke, choosing his words carefully.

"Ursa, I'll make a deal with you. I'll simply banish Zuko if you leave my chambers now."

Taking his deal as a sign of fear or weakness, Ursa took a fire-bending stance. She was aimed to strike Azulon's heart.

"No Azulon, I'll make a deal with you. Spare Zuko and make Ozai firelord as your dying wish, and I will take the banishment."

Azulon stared at Ursa for what seemed to be a long time, weighing his options. After what seemed like ages, he finally replied, "Ursa," he paused, "It seems as though you get what you want," Azulon then proceeded to call a servant into his chambers, ordering him to record his new will.

After the servant left, Azulon turned to Ursa, "Now go Ursa. You are banished from the fire nation. Go!"

But Ursa didn't move. Before Azulon could react, Ursa was bending lightning at him.

After a moment, Ursa stepped forward to examine the Firelord's body. To her relief and slight dismay, Firelord Azulon was dead.

Then Ursa left to find Zuko in his bed, wake him, and speak to him for the last time.
