Relationships are built on lies.
"So, yes I may or may not have spent all his money on clothes," Ginny told, Ron, her brother.
"Luna and I were ready to go on a double date with our boyfriends. So, what if they tried to cancel for a boys' night?" Ginny asked Ron.
"Maybe, they didn't want you there?" Ron deadpanned to his crazy sister.
"I was a rhetorical question," Ginny continued, "Harry, my boyfriend, and Dean, Luna's boyfriend were playing video games. Well, Harry was playing and Dean was yelling, 'Move! Move! Swerve to avoid the cop. Go left!' They were ignoring us."
"Maybe because they wanted to finish their game," Ron said slowly, just in case his baby sister couldn't comprehend that.
"We were telling them the hurry up and finish the game. Luna and I were all dressed up and looking hot. So, Harry and Dean gave us their wallets. Well, they may or may not have known that all their money was in their wallets. But see we did what any loving and trustworthy girls would do. We spent the money."
"That is fake, Ginny! That's wrong! You just can't blow off a dude's money. Knowing you, you probably spent the money on clothes," Ron glared at her.
"So, Luna and I went shopping and bought tons of clothes, make-up, and food. Anyways, our boyfriends were pissed," Ginny said.
"No, really? I could not have guessed this would happen," Ron said sarcastically.
Ginny agreed (not hearing the sarcasm), "I know! Harry asked me why I spent all his money. I told him that I left a dollar in there. Turns out Luna used that dollar for a chocolate bar. See I did what any loyal friend would do. I blamed eeerrr…. I mean told him that it was Luna's fault. Then, Luna opened her big mouth! She had the gall to tell him that I told her we would split the money. I got half. She got half. 'Shut up, girl! Shut up!' I hissed at her. Ugh! Why did Luna have to call me out like that?"
"Maybe because you sold her out first," Ron said dryly.
"Anyways, Harry told me that since we're in a relationship, I should be honest with him. 'Who told you that crap? Baby, relationships are built on one thing: Lies! Love is built on good and deceitful lies.' Then, Harry broke up with me. He said something about how he couldn't trust his girlfriend with his money or for honesty. Also, he wasn't looking at my face. I just shrugged it off. He was probably just sad or something," Ginny said confidently.
"No, he was probably still pissed at you and couldn't look his thieving girlfriend in the face," Ron said bluntly.
"Later, he took me back after I paid his money back. I may or may not have stolen that money. Tomatoes (to-mate-oh-s) or tomatoes (to-mot-oh-s), right? I didn't actually have to tell Harry how I got the money back. After all, relationships were based on lies."
"You. Learned. Nothing. You. Learned. Nothing!" Ron shouted at her and stormed out the kitchen. He wasn't really hungry anymore. The world was in chaos when Ron wasn't hungry.
"What's his problem?" the oblivious sister asked out loud.
