~~And you are the Darkness that seeks to destroy it.~~

~~Like summer and winter, we contrast each other!~~

~~To reunite with our progenitors and destroy the other.~~

~~Because there can be no Darkness, without Light to shine upon it…~~

~~And without the Darkness surrounding it, Light would not be so precious…~~
Hikari:
~~Thus started our dance, from the very beginning of time.~~
Yami:
~~All I wish for is to return the world back to the state of nihility…~~
Hikari:
~~And I want it to thrive and go even further beyond!~~
Yami:
~~You, who oppose me, I scorn you oh so badly, yet I cannot help but follow the glamour of your Light oh so gladly…~~
Hikari:
~~As am I, terrified of your Darkness, yet so often tempted it!~~
Yami:
~~Will we ever see eye to eye?~~
Hikari:
~~Such a thing, would be a sweet lie.~~
Yami:
~~Perhaps, this is how fate intended us to be.~~
Hikari:
~~This conflict external brings me no glee.~~
Yami:
~~So many things I have learnt, thanks to you…~~
Hikari:
~~You cursed me with the gift of fear, thus making me more human..~~
Yami:
~~Warm, passionate and bright…~~
Hikari:
~~Cold, passionless and dark…~~
Both:
~~That is what you are!~~
Hikari:
~~And I will bathe in the brilliance of my Light…~~
Yami:
~~And I shall dance in the silence of my Darkness…~~
Both:
~~Until you are no more.~~
A song depicting the duality between two characters. This story uses characters from WarriorMan's story, Amenominakanushi and Amatsu-Mikaboshi. Hikari and Yami are just aliases to shorten their names a little. Plus, Hikari and Yami literally mean Light and Darkness, which is fitting considering what the characters truly represent.
