"Birthday gift"

After the celebration, everyone goes back to their lives, including Cloud's current family.

"Hey Cloud!" said Marlene. "Denzel wants to tell you something!"

Cloud turns around and looks at Denzel, who had his head down.

"What is it Denzel?" he asked.

"Um... well... I uh..." he muttered to himself.

Tifa saw his intentions and bends down to his level and places a hand on Denzel's shoulder to reassure him.

"It's okay." she said. "Don't be shy. Just tell him from your heart." she smiled tenderly.

Denzel nods in determination. Cloud also bends down and stares at Denzel while he tries to find the right words.

"Ha... Ha..."

All of them stare at the boy patiently, until he finally overcomes his shyness.

"Ha... Happy Birthday... Cloud..." He blushes.

Cloud blinks twice after hearing his words and then gives him his usual half smirk.

"Thanks Denzel." he ruffled Denzel's hair and he smiles back at him. "So, how about if you guys help me to open my presents?" he smirked.

The children's faces light up with happiness and immediately they went upstairs to look for Cloud's presents. Cloud stood up from the floor and looks at Tifa. She was smiling at him and he couldn't help to smile back at her.

"So..." she began. "What would you like to have for your birthday?" she asked playfully.

"Um... I really don't have anything in mind..." he scratched the back of his head.

"Is that so?" she gets closer to him and wraps her arms around his neck. "That's too bad cause… I have something special for you… but I can't give it to you… yet." She winked an eye at him.

"Um… can you give me a hint?" he teased her. Tifa smiled at this and then slowly puts her mouth on Cloud's to claim his lips. The kiss didn't last long but it was sweet and tender. After the contact, they separated their lips to look for each other's eyes. Cloud smiles at her and whispers something in her ear.

"I can't wait to open my present."

Tifa smiled and also whispered. "I can't wait to give it to you…"

Cloud chuckled at this and once again they joined their lips in a tender kiss.
