First Preview: A what if idea where if instead of Spyke (love him but eh) as the eighth X-Man in Evolution, it was Gambit.
"Good mornin', chere," Rogue heard Remy say as she begun to wake up. She tried to move her arms but found they were tied behind her back. She realized she was sitting in a chair, her legs tied to the chair legs, and the room was rather dark.
"What d'ya want with me?!" Rogue exclaimed, holding a fierce look as her eyes tried to find Remy in the darkness. Suddenly, she spotted the glowing orbs in the dark. Remy LeBeau stepped into the moonlight, smirking.
Second Preview: An AU set in the old west. I'm still debating on whether it'll be in the comics or Evolution.
He brought his cigarette to his mouth, examining the other men around the table. Most of them were downtrodden miners and people looking for hope in the west. Such a shame they were going to learn the hard way that hope does not exist in the good Old West. He'd be happy to teach them too. Flamboyantly showing his cards tricks, they were dealed and ready to be played. And Remy LeBeau was the best player in these parts. Not that he really played. Always had the cards he needed up his sleeve. Of course, all thoughts stopped as someone entered the saloon. His jaw nearly dropped but he remembered to keep his cool and continued to examine the new person while cheating the honest folks from their money.
Third Preview: Carol Danvers makes her way into the Evolution verse. I assure you, this is slightly different than most Ms. Marvel stories.
Rogue slowly made her way over to the table after not seeing her friends from the institute.
"Hey, can Ah sit here?" She asked calmly. The girl looked up at her and Rogue smirked inwardly. She was reading about superheroes. More specifically, superheroines.
"You're one of those mutant kids, right?" She asked and Rogue felt slightly deflated.
"Yeah," she said.
"Cool, you're kind of like a superhero," she said. "Carol Danvers. Just transferred here."
