I was sitting in home room next to Edward, my crush. My friend Angela and I think he also likes me- though it's a long stretch. Anyway my best guy friend, Jake, walked in. He was fuming mad. He walked right up to his desk which is near mine and looked at me for five minutes. Edward was at his locker packing up.
Finally he said, "Why did you do that?"
I responded, "Do what?"
He said, "Tell people about Lauren!"
"I didn't tell anyone."
"Yea well then how come Jessica and Gigi know?"
"I don't remember telling them," I insisted.
"Yea well with your big mouth I wouldn't be surprised if they overheard."
THAT was low, even for him. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Edward come in. But Jake wasn't done yet, "How am I supposed to trust you now? Tell me!"
I turned away, trying to brush the tears that were pouring out of my eyes. Edward came over and sat down laughing at what Jasper had said. When he looked over at me and noticed me crying, he silently came over and wrapped his arms around me.
"Who did this?" he asked
I responded, "Jake!" he started rocking me back and forth
"I'll kick his butt later for you," he said kissing the top of my head.
I smiled at him and said, "Thanks!"
A/N: It took me 10 minutes to write this. Based off of something that happened at school today. With an extra ending… ALL HUMAN!
