Hope ya like!
Chapter 1:Getting Ready
Hermione, Ginny, Parvati, and Lavender sat huddled in a corner of the Common Room, each handpicked for special reasons to plan a party. Hermione, because she had brains, Ginny, because sometimes younger ones can be smarter than elders, Parvati for her superior knowledge of fashion, and Lavender because she had the Ultimate know how with the music.
"Humph! Since when does she hang out with her new girlfriends?" said Ron, gesturing to Hermione.
"Sounds like someone jealous..." Harry said, in an annoying taunting voice.
"Why won't Hermione notice me?" Ron muttered.
"Why won't Ginny notice me?" Harry said, thoughtfully.
"I know! Come on Ron!"
"What? Where are we going?"
"To get ready to get noticed." Harry smirked.
"What?"
"Get over here! And up here, and over there!"
"Wow Harry! Your bed." Ron said sarcastically.
"Ok, It'll be held a week from today. Ginny, put up the notice tomorrow. Lavender, find a good D.J."
"Huh?"
"Find a good DJ!
"Oh, right."
"Parvati, you describe how to dress."
"Gotcha!"
"I'll get muggle songs."
"Seamus?"
"What, Lavender."
"Come here, I need a favor."
"We're going to have a party. Will you be the D.J.?"
"Sure."
"One more thing." Seamus' heart rose. "Don't tell anyone."
"Ok." He said, as his heart fell.
"And...will you go to the dance with me?"
"SURE!"
Everyone looked up.
"Sorry!"
Ginny got started on the notice. So far it said,
BIG PARTY TO BE HELD! GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOM, AND DON'T FORGET A DATE!
Yes, that looks good.
Parvati drew up hot new styles and hid them in her trunk's secret
compartment.
Hermione found songs and wrote them down. They were:
With You
Toxic
Are You Happy Now
Miss Independent
Hey Ya
Bounce
My Band
Holiday In
7days
Oldies
Dancing Queen
I want Candy
Lucky
There you go
It's Gonna Be Me
Mystery Song
Perfect. That should keep them going. She can always find more!
"OK Ron. I realize we are in desperate need of help." Harry said while
pacing, "So I got a girl."
"What? So you have a girlfriend? Cheap."
"No, a girl to help us!"
"Oh..." Ron muttered as his ears reddened.
"Who is it?" Ron asked.
"A seventh year girl."
"When is she gonna start?"
"Right now." Said a third new voice.
As she stepped into view, Ron felt his jaw drop. She was just as pretty as a veela...
"See, right there is problem number 1. Girls HATE it when guys like them for their looks. Most girls. Now, if you want to go for a girl like Hermione, you need to help her. Instead of her doing homework for you, you do something nice for her. Give her candy...non-trick candy." She said hastily, noticing Ron's look. "Say you're sorry for fighting with her. Don't give me that look! I've heard you." Ron's ears reddened. "Now you..." she said, turning to Harry, "Here's what you do. Give her flowers. Spend time with her. She's not used to hanging around you. Let her know she's more than just a friend. And both of you, harness what'll be on the notice board tomorrow." With that, she left.
Hee...hee...hee. Now, with that, here's the explanation. When the party gets started each chappy will be a song. Review your request for songs, and suggestions and comments are brilliant! (
