Hey everyone. This story was brought to you by Our Tangled Webs on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For Our Tangled Webs I wrote for the platonic family pairing of Fred/Fleur. Warnings for mentions of character death. I hope you all enjoy A Conversation with Fred.

"So the store is doing well," Fleur said watching the overcast sky as she rocked her young daughter Victoire gently. "George is putting out a new line of products to deal with Boggarts. And he has so many ideas."

A nearby cardinal chirped catching the small child's attention.

"Bill wants to let everyone think he's handling things," she continued as Victoire began to wriggle to get free. Setting her daughter down Fleur watched the child run off in search of the cardinal. "I can tell this has hit him hard though. He doesn't say much about it but I can tell he's been crying when no one is around."

The sounds of Victoire cooing up at the cardinal made a small smile cross Fleur's face. There hadn't been much to smile about since the Battle of Hogwarts. In fact there had been more and more reason for upset since then. A tear slid down Fleur's face.

"You'd be so proud of your younger sister Ginny," she said wiping the tears that had started to fall. "She's making her way in life. After Hogwarts she plans to go into professional Quidditch." She leaned forward lowering her voice to a whisper. "I think that Harry's planning on asking her to be his wife soon. Maybe he's planning on asking after she graduates from school. I don't know. But I will tell you when it happens." Another sigh left her lips. "Ron's quit his job at the Aurors Office and he's joined George in the store. I know it's no substitution for you but Ron's trying. He's trying his hardest."

Victoire raced over to her mother with a huge smile on her face. But confusion replaced it when she saw the tears on her mother's face. "Why mama sad?" the 9 month old girl asked looking up from her spot on the green grass.

"Do you remember hearing daddy and you aunt and uncles talk about your Uncle Fred?" Fleur asked the young girl.

Victoire nodded the blonde curls bouncing around her shoulders.

Pointing towards the headstone they now stood in front of she whispered, "This is your Uncle Fred." Fleur turned towards the headstone motioning towards her daughter. "This is your first niece," she told the headstone of her brother-in-law. "This is Victoire. And I haven't told anyone else this but you and Victoire now. But she's going to be a big sister."

Victoire's giggled and smiled at this happy news.

"We'd better be heading back. Molly is expecting us for lunch in a few minutes. Good-bye, Fred."

"Bye, Unca Fred," Victoire squeal as her mother picked her up.

As Fleur left the graveyard she felt like a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders.

I hope you all enjoyed A Conversation with Fred.
