Prologue (1/2)

Zugard's office

It was a dark night at the planet Coruscant, the Neimoidian Zugard was waiting in his office for a visit.

"Sir, he's here". His bodyguard tells him in a very stoic tone.

"Bring him in and leave us". Zugard tells his subordinate.

The bodyguard brings the visitor in. It was a Chiss.

"Kavak, it's been some time". Zugard says.

"Spare me of your flattery Zugard, What do you want?". Kavak says.

"Straight to business as always I see. Very well, I need something delivered and I think you and your crew are the only ones fit for the job". Zugard says

"What's the cargo?". Kavak asks.

"A ancient artifact". He answers.

"What are the risks?, and don't lie to me!, you only ask for me when the job is really dangerous, so spit it out". Kavak says.

"It's a force artifact". Zugard says. Making Kavak shocked.

"I'm not gonna ask you how did you get it. I only gonna ask you this, who am I delivering this to?". Kavak asks. With a voice of concerm.

"I...don't know". Zugard says. "My superiors didn't gave me the information, they only ask me to find a smuggler to deliver".

Kavak slaps his forehead in frustration, then says. "A hundred thousand in advance".

"You have deal". Zugard extends his hand for a handshake but Kavak ignores him, turns his back on him and says. "What are the coordinates?".

"The cargo is in Geonosis, I need you to go there and get it, then transport to mustafar." Zugard says.

With that Kavak goes back to his ship.

The Paladin's misery.

Once inside, Kavak calls his crew.

"Everyone, a meeting at the center, Now!". Kavak says.

Kavak's crew currently only had three members.

Vektra: A female zeltron, with red skin and blue hair. She's a great fighter being highly skilled with melee weapons.

Pars'th: A male hapan, with reddish hair and dark brown eyes. He's a very skilled engineer, who's able to fix almost anything but unfortunately he's a very poor fighter who can't fight to save his life.

X: Honestly, X is a complete mystery

Kavak lost his original crew in dangerous mission and just started to rebuild it, but unfortunately Kavak thinks the only member worth keeping permanently is X. But he didn't fully trust X.

"Alright, listen carefully,we got some delivery to do, we first need to get it at Geonosis and take it to mustafar". Kavak says.

"What's the cargo?". Vektra asks.

"A artifact". Kavak says.

"The payment?" She asks again.

"A hundred thousand". Kavak says.

The entire was surprised by the amount. But X had a question.

"What's the catch?" X asks.

Kavak looked at X in confusion.

"This amount isn't normal for a simple delivery, and you're always take jobs that are too much to handle, so what is the catch?". X asks again.

Kavak knows that there is no use lie to X

"Alright, the artifact is a force artifact". Kavak says.

The entire crew was shocked by the reveal.

"And before you ask, I don't know if we are delivering to.". Kavak says.

"So we might get into a fight with either jedi or the sith or both". X says.

"X, we're out of credits, the paladin needed a complete repair after our last delivery and it needs repair at some parts still". Kavak says.

X didn't respond. Kavak can't tell his expression due to the helmet that X is wearing.

"I'll set course to Geonosis then, everyone get ready". Kavak says.

Jedi Headquarters

A Jedi master was meditating alone in the room.

"Grandmaster Navar" A jedi knight says interrupting the master's concentration.

The Jedi knight was a young men, with wavy light blond hair and brown eyes.

"Yes, Den" The master say.

"The artifact was located, it's in Geonosis". Den says.

"The artifact must not fall in the wrong hands, take three more with you and recover the artifact". Master Navar says.

"Yes Grandmaster". Den says.

With that Den exits the room but someone is waiting outside.

It was a men with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

"What did he say?" A man with the same age as Den asks.

"He said that me and three more to go after the artifact". Den says with a lot of entusiasm in his voice.

"Oh great, we haven't gone on a mission in months". The man says

"I know, but this is important. This artifact is really powerful and we can't let the sith put their hands on it. Are you sure you're ready Ract?". Den asks.

"Course I'm ready Den. I'm gonna go warn Wep'wome and Viobhoc". Ract says.

"Tell them to be at the hangar in a hour" Den says.

Ract nodded in agreement and leaves.

Den walks his room at the Headquarters.

"Den?" He hears someone calling him.

"Oh... hello Shima". It was Shima, She was a close friend of Den's father.

"I'm sorry, I was looking for master Gartogga". Shia says.

"I think she left for Nar shaddaa this morning". Den says.

"Oh...ok" She says while turning her back on him.

"Wait!. How are you doing?" Den asks.

"I... I still can't believe he's gone". She says.

It's been a year since Den's father and younger brother died

"I...Yeah me too". Den says. Every since their deaths, Den blames himself for not being there with them.

Shia looks like she was going to cry but holds herself back. Den still isn't sure whether Shia and his father were just friends or more, but he didn't have the nerve to ask her.

"I have to go". Shia says. And leaves without saying much else.

Den then took his equipment and went straight to hangar.

When he got there, his friends and comrades were waiting for him.

Ract: His best friend since childhood.

Wep'wome: His twi'lek friend.

Viobhoc: His quiet but skilled friend.

Without wasting much time all of them took a small ship and made way to Geonosis.
