Hi. I watched 5 CM/S for the first time last night and I cried so hard that I had no more tears left to cry after a while. I never cried for Titanic or for Moulin Rouge but this one had me blubbering like a baby, especially with the ending.
Inspired, I wrote a song based on the final scene in Act III and I think it turned out great. Sing it in your head to the tune of Bowling For Soup's 'Almost.' Hope you all enjoy it.
The cherry blossoms fall, in the bloom of spring
But I never had the time to give you my ring
But I never stopped believing and I never denied it
Why am I still so hung up on you?
Watching the petals fall, on a crisp spring day
Is something I will never forget anyway
But it reminded me of the day I lost you
I walked on by
You never gave a passing glance
I walked on by
But I guess it doesn't matter
The train kept rolling
And now I'm stopping
To see if it's you
I hope you still love me too.
When we kissed late at night
My world felt so right
But that satisfaction passed on by
When we had to say goodbye, and part
Why am I still so hung up on you?
I walked on by
You never gave a passing glance
I walked on by
But I guess it doesn't matter
The train kept rolling
And now I'm stopping
To see if it's you
I hope you still love me too
As the train rolled out, out of the station
I kept my position, hoping you're there
Once it was clear, you were not there
I walked away knowing you loved me
But that past love is all that I need
I walked on by
You never gave a passing glance
I walked on by
But I guess it doesn't matter
The train kept rolling
And now I'm stopping
To see if it's you
I hope you still love me too
I walked on by
You never gave a passing glance
I walked on by
But I guess it doesn't matter
I walked on by
I now know you loved me too.
So how was that? Would you like it if it came out as a single later on? Let me know in the review section. Have a good day everyone and God bless.
