So this is Totally based on a True Story, Sadly.
My mom was driving Nicole and I To Andrew's house,
And this Happened, more or less.
"Are you sure you know how to get there?"
"Oh my god, yes! I do have a map."
"Huh, and you really think that will make a difference? 'Cause, if memory serves me right, you don't know how to read a map."
"Hey! I know how to read a map just fine!"
"Really. Which direction is north?"
"Easy! It's, uh..."
Ryou silently cursed Google for not including a compas rose on the map.
"Yeah, thought so. Pull over, I'm driving."
"No Bakura! You don't have your licence, and I'm not risking you getting us pulled over and arrested."
"Come on, pansy! It'll be fine. I have plenty of driving experience."
"No. Just, help me read the map. You can be my copilot!"
Bakura wanted to slap the sugary-sweet grin off of the younger boy's face.
"Not the copilot. I'm the directional consultant. Because the motor vehicle operator is too incompatant to read a map."
"Hey, no reason to be mean. Now, we're coming up on an interection, which way do I turn?"
"It says to just keep going straight until we reach the end of 1050, than turn left onto 100 East."
"Alright, I can do that."
After driving for a quarter mile, Ryou came to a sudden realization.
"Oh crap! What time did we say we were going to pick Yami and Yuugi up?"
"3:30, I think."
"Oh, well it's 4:00 now. Do you have your cell on you?"
"Yeah, but I don't have their number. But don't worry, we're almost there."
"Okay, I turn left, right?"
"Left, yes. Now you turn right at the next set of rail road tracks."
"Why would there be rail road tracks going through a sub division?"
"I don't know! That's just what it says. Just go straight until we hit them."
"Whatever you say..."
Halfway down the road, they still hadn't spotted any train tracks.
"This can't be right, these directions must be wrong. I'm turning around."
"No, just keep goi-"
Bakura's phone vibrated in his pocket. He looked at the caller ID, it was Yami.
"Hello?"
"Hey! Where are you guys! We're going to have to see a later showing of the movie now!"
"Oh, hey, we're on 100 East, trying to find the rail road tracks to turn at."
"What? There's no tracks on- Oh! You must mean Rail Road! It's the name of a road, not rail road tracks. How far down the street are you?"
"Like, more than halfway."
"Jesus, just turn around, and turn on Rail Road."
"Alright, thanks man, we'll be there shortly."
Bakura started lightly chuckling.
"Turn the car around."
"Why? Did we go over the tracks and just didn't feel them, or something?"
"No, we missed the road."
"Road...?"
"Yes. We were supposed to turn right on Rail Road."
Ryou groaned loudly.
"That is the worst name for a road Ever!"
