The Benefits of Thoughtful Wonderings
As an uncovened vampire I did not know who my creator was, and had been searching for hundreds of years. It was early one crisp, cool morning I was wondering around after spending the last several months with a coven in Africa, when I came across a beautiful city. When I got inside of the walls, there were a few humans walking around waiting to start the celebration, for today happened to be Saint Marucs Day. I had sat down on the low wall of the fountain in the middle of the square, to rest my feet when I was surrounded my 3 figures in cloaks, and told to follow them quickly. Once in the shadows of the clock tower a cloak was handed to me, and again I was told to follow quickly.
Once inside the castle, they stopped in front of a pair of large wooden doors, they were opened and I was roughly pushed inside. "Jane, why have you brought this child to us?" Cauis asked. "As we were out searching for breakfast, we found her sitting on the fountain uncloaked, and the morning sun was just about the rise above the mountain tops." The figure on my left spoke. "It's been a while since we had an outside vampire in our city. What is your name, dear?", "My name's Misty, and you're Aro, Marucs and Cauis. The coven I have been staying with fear you greatly.", "You do not have a coven?", "No sir. I don't know who my creator is, I've been looking, but have not found the vampire.", "I wish I could let you finish your quest, but you were exposing us to the humans who live in this peaceful city. I will have to kill you. Felix, Jane, Alec go ahead." Marucs stated with a large smile plastered on his face.
*Demetri's PoV*
I was heading toward the throne room when I heard a beautiful female voice, after she finished her tale Marcus declared that she was to be killed, and left the task up to Jane, Alec, and Felix. I pushed open the doors, and her scent hit me. "La tua cantante." I said. Jane and Felix dropped her arms, and she turned around, and answered "La tua cantante. My other quest is finally over." I walked up to her, touched her face with my fingertips; she leaned into me and gave me a true genuine smile.
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Jane making her angry face at us, while trying to use her powers on both of us at the same time. "Jane. Let us see if this is true." Aro held out his hand and Misty lightly placed hers on his plam, when she let go I also showed him how I was feeling. "Well?" Cauis asked in a inpatient tone. "A ceremony is in due.", "Let us do it now. I hear Renta bringing in our breakfast. And I would like to have the first meal of the day with the love of my life." I announced with pride in my voice. As the last human entered the room, I grabbed a tall black man and my new wife took hold of a young women about the age of twenty. Five minutes later, my beautiful wife I were happily married, and our hunger satisfied for the evening.
As the last hours of the night of the night were coming to a close, I knocked on the door of our new rooms and heard a quiet 'come in.' As I entered, I found Misty looking out the window, and I could tell from her face that she was thinking of something happy. I wrapped my arms around her, and she leaned her back on me. "Mrs. Demetri Volturi, what are you thinking about?", "I will have to get used to that. I'm just thinking about the wonderful benfits that my thoughtful wonderings have brought to me today.", "I'm glad your wonderings brought you here. I love you Misty.", "I love you too, Demetri." She turned around in my arms and pressed her lips to mine.
